Who said scrolling through Instagram is not studying? I definitely count it when I take notes and learn new vocabulary. 😊
Ethan learns to donate his toys to the earthquake survivor. He agreed and hand picked his favorite toys and cars after I showed him some Lombok earthquake video. I told him, these toys will go with no return and he firmly said yes he knows! @global.printing88 #livetolearn #bekindtooneanother
Did you have a bad day or a bad few moments that you DECIDED to dwell on for the whole day? Of course bad days happen, but too often we say that we had a bad day because we couldn't let go of a few bad minutes of our day, wasting our energy on being pessimistic and angry when we could channel that to better things. If something happens to you, and it makes you angry, acknowledge it... then move on! The more negative energy that you project, the more negativity that you will see.
That bad day that you had, ask yourself, was it really bad, or did I create this myself?
Who do you surround yourself with? People who care, give and grow? I’m so grateful for the boss babes in my life who continue to help me grow! Rebecca just took FIRST PLACE for her category in the Source Weekly, Katie received a Women of Isagenix award for her leadership and Laura received Woman of The Year in Nashville. These achievements don’t come easy and unless you’re running a business (brick and mortar or virtual franchise) it’s hard to recognize the serious heart invested in order to be honored in this way. How did I get so lucky to surround myself with women like this?! Good job, girls!

"Around the world, conflict is forcing record numbers of people from their homes, with over 65 million people now displaced." World Humanitarian Day is held every year on August 19th to pay tribute to aid workers who risk their lives in humanitarian service, and to rally support for people affected by crises around the world❤🌎
For the last 7 days I got to see this daily reminder about building community. Supported by some amazing humans, we challenged our brains, bodies, and hearts. I feel grateful to be part of a community like Modo, where we are all welcome and free to be ourselves. Here’s to playing together, asking questions, and fixing it even when you didn’t break it. Thank you for the chance to grow. #livetolearn #flow #dance @modoyogala @modoyoganyc
Don’t wait for the perfect partner or the dream job or the big house or the ideal body. Live your life now, love every minute of it, the joy and the pains. Nothing is promised. Nothing. Except this moment. The gift that sits in the palm of your hands. Don’t let it slip away unappreciated, hoping that something better might be around the corner. This is it. The only thing that matters. This moment. Right now.

I love to use a multi dynamic method of studying languages. I read, write, speak, and listen. One way to knock out all these dimensions of practice is with music because you can listen to it, read the lyrics, write it down, and sing. And it doesn’t matter if you’re a good singer or not. I’m not a good singer...yet. The goal is to try to mimic the pronunciation as best as possible and you’ll improve over time. And learn the new vocabulary and phrases. Do you practice with music? What’s your strategy? #languagediarychallenge
Have you noticed a couple of changes at the studio? Maybe in the changerooms, or on the stoop as you walk up the stairs? We love keeping things fresh for you✌ "Life is about change. Sometimes it's painful. Sometimes it's beautiful. But most of the time, it's both."

Peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in heart.
Finding peace in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It’s our first time here and for a very special reason - to witness the union of our good friends @lowjunket
. What a wonderful way to experience this city for the very first time. Thankful that I managed to make time for practice this morning. #sendingyouloveandlight

This book has me stuck so deep in the themes it portrays...I usually read for leisure and downtime, but this one has me hooked philosophically...got me thinking all sorts of deep life meanings well into the middle of the night.
At every turn of a page I question the reality of life as we know it. I may be strange and weird when it comes to my outrageous thoughts on life, but this book makes me believe I am not alone in this world!
From conspiracy theories to wanting to go off grid; ideas are cementing into reality now.
This may be a novel, but the carbon reality shows through the fictional tracing paper...well for me anyway!
The unsettling and disturbing similarities to a current generation is frighteningly believeable, especially with the current rampage of social media influencers and number crunching activities...measured likes, comparison, idolising, fake standards, superficial happiness...
It really is too much to bear and this read had me questioning my own motives on social media, which is why I have not posted in a while.
We post our best 'highlights' and leave out the difficulties we go through, which is unfair to those followers who hang onto our every post and live vicariously through our 'adventures'. NO! I refuse to be that person. Because my journey is hard done and doesn't come without the rotten parts! So, until I am brave enough to show those parts as well, why should I wantonly display the good parts??!!
I preach #authentic
living and I want to walk my talk. I am a #lifelearner
and that means being #real #true
. I am not a social media influencer or a travelblogger so I will not only show the good and glamorous. As #worldschoolers
we see people, places and culture in the raw form and our journey is not perfect, fun or easy.
We live everyday, like a normal part of the community we live in and that entails your everyday problems like lack of finances and teenager tantrums and family disagreements and lazy days and a packet of chips on bread and playing with the neighborhood kids and struggling to find online work.

Silver beams dancing gently casting deep shadows that seduce senses
Forcing me to drop pretenses
This simple sight makes my heart sing
My mind is filled with potential of what will be
This metal is deep within me
My hands yearn for your texture My nose for your smell
My eyes yearn for that which I create so well
