Sometimes it only takes one “yes” to unlock your dreams.
Not only am I in Indianapolis celebrating my coaching team and all their accomplishments but this weekend I’m celebrating ALL the things....tomorrow is @morrison.rick_
and my 8th anniversary!
👫 👰🏻 🤵🏻❤️
June 24, 2010 I said the best YES of my life.
Ever since that day we’ve been following our dreams and building the life we love.
Over the 8 years there have been many big life moments, a whole lot of challenging conversations, continuous laying down our own selfishness, lots of learning to love in ways that are meaningful to the other person, digging deep to find out what really matters to both of us, and fighting for our relationship and love to stay a priority in the midst of raising children, paying the bills, walking through family stress, doing the things we are responsible for.
Through it all I’ve been Rick’s biggest cheer leader and supporter of his dreams and he has been mine.
When we got married he was still working towards various flight certificates and aviation credentials and I was teaching school, dreaming of the day I’d be able to pursue health and fitness and stay home with our children.
There have been so many scary “just say yes” moments along the way that we’ve held hands and said yes to, together.
▪️We said yes to Rick becoming a flight instructor
▪️We said yes to moving to AZ.
▪️We said yes to Rick’s job flying crazy hours for the opportunity to fly in a King Air and work towards building more flight hours.
▪️We said yes to buying our first home.
▪️We said yes to getting pregnant and me giving up my full time job.
▪️We said yes to me starting my own health and fitness coaching business.
▪️We said yes to Rick’s biggest career move yet, flying Jets!
▪️We said yes to baby #2
Every time we’ve said yes there has always been unknown, things we could fear....but that’s the beauty of love, locking arms, and knowing that at the end of the day we have each other, so there’s nothing to fear, and we have all that we need.
So much to celebrate, so much to be grateful for!
