That night you hardly got any sleep. Memories of the fight haunted you, preventing you from getting the sleep you desired.
For ten years, those lingered in the back of your mind, waiting for the moment when everything was silent so that they could make their appearance. Maybe that's why you kept yourself so busy. That way you wouldn't have to think about it. You wouldn't have to remember the sound of glass smashing against the wall, the feeling of the walls shaking as the door was slammed with all its might, and the awful words that forever echoed inside your mind. "I never loved you." Still to this day, you didn't truly know if Loki meant it or not when he whispered those venomous words, but it didn't matter. They cut you down to the core regardless.
When mid-morning arrived, you decided that it would be best to get out of bed. You took a much needed shower and changed into a simple, cotton sky blue dress and gold sandals. You brushed your hair and decided to braid a small portion on the left side of your hair.
Once dressed, you ate a small breakfast, consisting of oranges and bread with honey. When you finished, you decided to go to the market. You always loved going to the market and meeting the merchants. You met many great people there, from all over the nine realms. You loved hearing the stories of their homes and how they chose to make a living for their families, whether it was selling food or making jewelry. It all fascinated you.
The market was rather quiet today, which you didn't mind at all. Sometimes it was nice to go from booth to booth without the feeling of being rushed. You approached a both were a middle-aged woman sat, finishing up the last touches on a deep purple silk dress. "The dress is beautiful." You smiled. "Thank you, miss." The woman smiled. "I haven't seen you around. Are you new?" "No, it's just been a while since I've been here." "Oh, that's nice." She grinned as she hung the dress up on display. "Asgard has a way of always drawing you back. There's just something about this city that you can't seem to get enough of." "Are you from Asgard?"
Loki. The cat who materialized out of nowhere three years ago and claimed our home as his realm. Sometimes he’s there one second and gone the next. He is obviously a cat, yet he sometimes acts like one of the dogs—rolling around with them, chasing them (yes, he does the chasing), and hiding behind the bushes to pounce on one of them. I have never been much of a cat person, but this guy is quite charming. I named him appropriately—there are so many parallels between his unique personality and the mythological Norse god. He’s a thief, a prowler, a trickster, shapeshifter, and quite funny. I believe Stephen King gave the most accurate description of cats—they cannot be hypocrites. They refuse to curry favor even if it’s in their best interest to do so. #catsofinstagram #lokicat #lokilaufeyson #kingoftherealm #valhallavillan #sweetkittycat
