Where📍: Vapiano. Ordered: 🍝Crema di Funghi with button mushrooms, cream, white wine and onions 🍝 Rating:🎖🎖🎖3/5. If you want a casual pasta fix, this is your place! The pasta I ordered was good, however I think it would’ve tasted nicer with garlic rather than onion! It was light but tasty. Vapiano keeps taking my favourite pasta combinations off the menu so hopefully this one stays! They used to have some other really amazing vegetarian options. I do think this place is a hit and miss though, sometimes the pasta comes out great and sometimes it can be undercooked and disappointing. Also, the novelty of this place is that you can watch your pasta being made in front of you, however if you’re going with a big group of people it’s rather inconvenient as you will have to stand in different queues and simply wait, rather than have the chance to talk to each other. I’d rather be sitting on a table waiting for my food to come! But it works if you’re in groups of 2-3. The place also does pizza, risotto and various sides but pasta is what people come here for! #vapiano #italian #freshpasta #pastalondon #vegetarian #londoneats #londonvegetarian
Ceremony, London, United Kingdom. A vegetarian restaurant passionate about sustainability, vegetables and flavour. What we say: You would never know this was a vegetarian restaurant if nobody told you. The vibes are so lively, the cocktails so beautiful, the menu so gutsy and wide-ranging, and the dishes so deep and hefty, that it just wouldn’t occur to you. Eggs and dairy feature heavily to create backgrounds against which the vegetables can really sing. @ceremonyrestaurant

. Tacos for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert...I have yet to find an occasion where a taco does not belong. People always ask me, where can I find the best tacos in London? The answer, friends, is MY HOUSE. Unfortunately, I’m not open for business...yet. And sorry dudes, there’s a longggg waiting list!
I used some leftover roast mushrooms from Friday’s dinner and mixed them into scrambled eggs with onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, and grated cheddar. Topped with some green jalapeño salsa, avocado, and red chilies for extra spice, I’m already having the #bestsundayever

Grilled aubergine salad, with avocado, piquillo peppers and mozzarella. A plate of hearty, healthy nourishment, for those with more herbivorous hankerings. 🥑
Christmas pudding Brownie Bites
These adorable chocolatey bites are made from brownies or cake. They are very simple to make and require very little time. You can easily buy the little fondant holly leaves and berries online but I’m cheap so I make them myself with a little holly leaf press and coloured fondant icing. You could also decorate with a little glace cherry or dried cranberry. You can also adultify (yes I’m making up words now) by adding a splash of seasonal booze, for example brandy or spiced rum.
To make 10-12 walnut sized balls (25-30g each)
500g brownie or chocolate cake (this is about 3 brownies worth- we use vegan brownies)
1/2tsp ground cinnamon
pinch grated or ground nutmeg
zest of half an orange (optional)
pinch of sea salt
2tbsp spiced rum (optional)
100g white chocolate chips (for vegan bites use vegan white chocolate or white icing)
15 holly leaf decorations
Tear the brownie or cake into chunks and grind to crumbs in a food processor. Test the texture by squeezing in your hand, it should come together easily into a ball when squished. If not add a splash of maple or agave syrup and blend again and then test again.
Turn the mix into a bowl and squish a few times with your hands. Pack them with your hand into a ball the size of a table tennis ball or slightly smaller.
Top them all with melted white chocolate and press the decorations onto the top before the chocolate sets. Store in the fridge and take out about 30 minutes before serving.

Think pad Thai, but spicier 🔥 Could honestly have done with a bigger serving size, but overall really delicious. #oliviaeatslondon
Adorable Christmas 🎄 special this year for our first all vegan Christmas menu. This little Christmas bauble has spiced chocolate crumb base (gluten-free) with creamy poached clementine mousse topped with cranberry jelly. Oh and cheeky fondant holly leaf for a bit of holiday cheesiness. Already available at dalston and all our branches from Monday.
I’ve decided it might be fun to post a few recipes as well as photos to keep track of ideas for upcoming menus. Tandoori cauliflower wings are a perfect little starter or snack for the upcoming party season and when served with a nice salad and coconut yogurt raita makes a lovely light lunch. I made my own tandoori paste for this recipe but there are plenty available to buy. The gram flour, or chickpea flour, will smell and taste really strong when you first mix the batter but when it is cooked the taste changes completely and gives the cauliflower a great glossy yet crunchy coating.
For the cauliflower
Ingredients for the batter:
30g gram flour
3tbsp tandoori paste (see comments for my recipe)
50g coconut yogurt
300ml oat milk or other plant milk
2tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp maple syrup
For the glaze:
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp tandoori paste
1 tbsp water
Preheat oven to 200c (gas mark 6). Combine all the ingredients for the batter in a bowl and whisk together making sure to break down any lumps of flour (you can also do this in a blender). Combine with 700g of cauliflower florets (1 large head of cauliflower) and mix well to coat evenly. Bake on a non-stick baking tray for 20 mins. Meanwhile make the glaze by combine all the ingredients. When the cauliflower is cooked and starting to go crispy brush with the glaze and return to the oven for a further 15-20 minutes. Serve with coriander and mint and minted coconut yogurt or raita.
One of my fave places, love this entrance, great place to chill and the vege breakfast is 👌. 📸 @lisrah

Where📍: Taco Bell, Hanmersmith. Ordered: 🌮Every vegetarian thing on the menu (sorry for the lack of pictures, there’s nothing pretty about this food 😂) 🌮Rating: 🎖 1/5. I LOVE Taco Bell in the US, so I was naturally excited to try it soon as it opened in London (it only opened yesterday)! But.. sadly it was a total disappointment foodwise. I didn’t have high expectations to begin with, the menu is smaller and I knew with all the food regulations here it wouldn’t be the same 😂. But it was worse than I expected. You can make most things on the menu vegetarian by substituting the meat for beans. But the beans were bland and flavourless which in turn made all the vegetarian dishes disappointing. This is not the case in the USA. The ‘seasoned’ Mexican fries lacked seasoning, the nachos were stale (the toppings were good) and some of the churros were so hard and inedible whilst others were soft, showing inconsistency. The service was good, what a shame about the food! I can’t speak for meat eaters but vegetarians.. the UK Taco Bell isn’t worth it. #tacobelluk #tacobell #hammersmith #mexicanlondon #tacobelllondon #vegetarian #vegetarianfood #vegetarianlondon #burritos #nachos #fastfood #londonvegetarian #mexicanvegetarian #londonfood
