There are several galleries around Pre Rup's base. Some have been restored, but most have collapsed. This is the entrance of a gallery with a brick temple at the end. This is one of several temples surrounding the central pyramid, a feature common in the early Angkor temple-mountain complexes.
The last party stopped, the people walked out. The doors were closed forever. The era of the ballroom is over and forgotten, nobody cares anymore about these beautiful places.
The last couple of years we went Searching for these places. It took us a lot of effort,time, kilometers and fun.

The magnificent sight of Pre Rup, rising like a series of mountain peaks from the plains around the Eastern Baray. This monumental temple-mountain was built by King Rajendravarman II and consecrated sometime in 961.
