Day 4 of 30 Days of Bali Travel Tips!
This one's for the ladies: it is forbidden for women to visit Balinese temples while on their period. Crazy right?! Of course no one checks if you are in fact menstruating at the entrance of each temple but it's something to keep in mind if you plan to visit some religious sites. It is said that bad karma comes to those who break this rule 😈
What do you think of this local custom? Let us know your favorite travel tips! 🤩

Do you see that little square by my feet? That is a Canang Sari - one of the daily offerings made by Balinese Hindus in praise and prayer. 🙏
They are a small palm-leaf basket/tray filled with flowers, a small amount of money, sometimes a cracker or candy, and are topped with delicious smelling incense.🌸🌿🌸
You will quite literally see them everywhere in Bali - not just in temples or on small shrines, but in front of businesses, houses, in the middle of the street, all along the sidewalk - they’re everywhere.✨
It’s the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about Bali and every time I land in Bali and walk out of the airport, I immediately smell those incense & smile 🤗💕

Early morning tranquility at this exotic rice terraces 🍃
Tegallalang Rice Terraces in Ubud is famous for its beautiful scenes of rice paddies involving the subak (traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system), which according to history, was passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. Tegallalang forms the three most splendid terraced landscapes in Ubud's shared region, with the others being in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan.
The Tegallalang rice terraces alone offers a scenic outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice paddies on the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well-known spot for tourists to stop and take photos. Painters and nature lovers also enjoy visiting this spot, and there are numerous art kiosks and cafes near the ledge offering their ware.

“People love me, but they’re not buying from me.” Can’t tell you how often I hear this from my clients as well as people in the influencer space.
If you want to create dope content *and* sell your products/services without coming off like a self-indulging arse, you need to create a brand that deeply connects with and serves your audience first.
People buy from who they know, like, and trust. So, just because they love you, does not mean they will buy from you. Inspiration is not enough to move people to action.
Here’s how you can fix that: ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
Let them KNOW you because you’re consistently showing up and putting yourself out there. Give them a chance to LIKE you by telling stories that connect with and inspire them, and earn their TRUST by positioning yourself as the expert and providing them with value.
Storytelling is what will capture your people’s hearts, and VALUE is what captures their wallets.
With every piece of content you create, ask yourself what is the main piece of value that the audience will walk away with. What help can you offer them? How can you invite them to be a part of your story?
Try this exercise: for every single piece of content you create this week, consciously offer people value. Give them *one* memorable thing to walk away with.
Report back and lmk how it worked out for you. You’ll not only expand your influence, you’ll grow your brand and biz in the process!
P.S. If you’re struggling with creating clear messaging that sells - as well as a brand that attracts the right people to you - DM me. Have a couple of spots left in my VIP brand story coaching program before my prices go up for 2019!
