I have Soooo much to thank 💖Slimming World 💖 for! A little over 4 years ago, I walked into a group for the very first time. I was feeling incredibly nervous and very, very unhappy. I need not have worried though, I fell in L❤️VE with Food Optimising (so easy, and so much food!) I was never, ever hungry and within the year, I had reached my dream target weight, losing just over 4 stone. Did I believe I could do it, when I started? Absolutely not! But that's the thing about group support, it keeps you going and together, we can achieve SO much more. So now I have the BEST job ever - and something else to thank Slimming World for! Having the opportunity to help others lose the weight that might be holding them back is, without a doubt, the best feeling ever! So you see, I've been there and I really do understand and.... Ever since I started coaching and striving to live healthier, I've loved Monday's! Well this Monday was even more exciting than just personal development, scripture reading, exercising, grocery shopping, wearing my work sweatshirt😉 and playing with my girls!😊 Today, I also got in a nice movie sesh this morning with my hubs and father in law (kid free!) and then played at the pool with my sis in law and our girls!😍😍😍 These days are so needed and love how unexpected it was! Let yourself have fun and make yourself a priority! Why not enjoy it all right?

I had a lot going on today after work. Ran 3.5 miles on rolling hills. Took Ace on a quick walk. Jumped on a power hour with my team! Worked out to Day 8/21! Jumped on a team call with some more girls from my team! Prepared for tomorrow! —————————————-

Why do this?
To me, this is an easy question that doesn’t require much thought before answering. I used to be the kind of person who wanted to be healthier but just didn’t know HOW to achieve it.
I wasn’t really introduced into health and fitness at an early age so I didn’t know anything. I thought you joined a gym, showed up to the classes when they were being held and did what the instructor said. If I did, then bam 💥, just like magic, I would have a rockin body. Right?!?!
Life isn’t so simple, and we can’t all make it to class at the times they are held. .
Now I make the rules. I have a nutrition plan that is flexible, allows for me to enjoy food, but also fuels my body, I get to CHOOSE when I want to do my workout 🏋️♀️, and my trainers are amazing. They are there for me.
It’s the holy grail of fitness! It even travels with me so I can do it if I am on vacation, business trips, or anywhere! Foes any other gym do that? No! I am so thankful and grateful to have found this on my journey.

Were you bummed that today is Monday???
I think every Monday morning I have to give myself an attitude check. Even though I love my job and love what I do in my spare time, I still get in that rut of thinking that what I do during the week has to be long, dull, and tiring.
Once I’ve completed my Monday morning thought process (which, to be honest, can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 4 days) I usually am able to recognize the beauty and joy that I am blessed to see every single day.
So friends, my challenge to you this week is to find little things in everyday that give you life and set your soul on fire.
Let’s make every day a Monday, but make it a beautiful one. 💓
