Worlds smallest shower room, luckily we're only small people!
♡ H e l l o ♡ A slightly different, one off post from me tonight, as I haven’t posted a photo of MrB and I on my insta feed in about 2 years (and I’ll probably now lose followers) but I’ve had quite a few new followers recently, so I wanted to say ‘hi’ and tell you a little bit about me...
I’m Kerry, and I live in Surrey with my fiancé Chris, and our pup Leo. We have been renovating our 1930s home for about a year now, and so far have completed the kitchen, dining room, and semi-finished the family room. We are currently a few months into our lounge renovation, and will then be moving on to the bathroom! I always joke that we are the slowest renovators ever, but we decided we wanted to do as much of the work ourselves, which means it takes twice as long to get anything finished. .
I changed my insta to an interiors account just over a year ago, and set up a blog to document our renovations in the house (I am the worst blogger ever!!) It was the best decision I’ve ever made, as I’ve met so many amazing people, and had the opportunity to work with some really lovely brands! .
I’ll stop now *longest post ever! but ‘hi’ and welcome to my page if you’re new, (thanks for hanging around if not!) and I promise I will post only interior related photos from now on ♡

Both walls are out and the bathroom shell is up. It's pretty difficult trying to work out how much room you really have and how it'll look when it's still at this stage. We were far too optimistic on the towel rack we bought for the tiny bathroom. Guess we'll be returning that then.
It's small but it's in. This certainly beats the broken rails we've been using for the past few months.
Step into paradise... Well it's more of a jungle at present so mind the thistles or bring a strimmer! 😁 #gardeninglife
Bathroom inspo from @normarchitects
Currently ordering fixtures and fittings for our tiny bathroom! Any space saving tips are welcomed
We’re tip-toeing slowly towards normality, plants are back but ladders and paint still hanging around! #nearlythere
This is definitely Mabels favourite corner of the flat.
Love this Plant box from @fermliving
Still playing around with what plants to put in it though
Second day into the kitchen refurb and we have our first victim! 💨💥🚪
Swipe to see what the kitchen and bathroom area looked like before. The builders wasted no time in stripping and clearing the space!
The kitchen will run down the left hand wall and the huge hole at the back is for the floor to ceiling sliding doors.
So, the England match has left me drained and gutted but nevertheless, what a trip!
But, on a more positive note, we finally exchanged today and move into our new, long term project next week! This heavily extended 1950's detached house is going to be turned into a beautiful home. Walls will be knocked down, rooms will be remodeled and the exterior totally upgraded.
We've got so many plans for it and hope you guys enjoy following the progress. Let's do this! 👊
🙋 Not watching the football over here! I haven't watched any of it, I just don't care at all. Instead I went to help out at my eldest girl's Brownies session, as they were a helper down. We designed and decorated fairycakes, which was a very nice way to spend the evening. I even dug out my old Girl Guides trefoil badge to wear. It's been a funny few days at work dealing with an unexpected event in my team, but I've managed not to get stressed out by it. Running helps - it's such a great way to clear your head. I also ate a massive burrito for lunch which helped too 😃 Currently in bed with a pile of Jack Russells which is a good place to be 😍
Change of plan, I live here now ❤️
