I took today off. I went to a tree farm with my family & we made Christmas tree wreathes and hung out with farm kittens. By the way, farm kittens are the best kinda kittens. The wreathe making is fun but i come for the animals. ♥️ It felt good to be out of the house and without any responsibilities. You can call it self care, you can call it a day off, you can call it whatever you want... truth is...I need to do it more often! . . . . #lovewildnovember #selfcare #getoutside #treefarm #carlsontreefarm #farmkittens #dayoff #christmas #wreathes #holidays #feelingfestive #catsofinstagram #kittens #trio #wildkittens #lovewildtribe #animalover #plantbased #kidfree #rustic #catlady #doglady #happinesss
Do you want an essential oil that is 5% pure plant material or a 100% pure plant material? One of my favorite things about doterra is their transparency! ✨why is it important to know whit’s in your bottle of essential oil?✨ Because legally companies are allowed to say their oils are pure if they only contain 5% plant matter! Yes that’s right - 5 %! Lots of essential oil companies cut corners to make a profit which in the end hurts growers, distillers and you. Doterra is committed to sharing essential oils that are: 100% plant material 100% pure 100% therapeutic grade They’re so committed, they test their oils with an independent third party lab, and then share the results with us! Curious what’s in your bottle of essential oil? Flip it over to find the Quality ID. Then head over to sourcetoyou.com for the report! Quality matters, you guys ❤️
Self care is important to me, that’s why each day I take time to recenter. If I don’t do it around lunch it’s evident by 3 o’clock. I have an extensive regime I stick to: clean food, sleep, supplements, detox and more-I can handle all of that- But still daily life stress creeps up on me that I can’t avoid. . One of my favorite things to do is listen to solfeggio crystal tone frequencies that have a calming effect on my mental status. I have a pair of beats that I listen to Lorelei’s Universe on YouTube when needed. Of course there are a ton of frequency songs on iTunes but this one particular track with the singing bowls gets me every time. She is so talented and really has a true sense of the instruments. With the beat headphones it picks up and enhances the tones to utter perfection. . If you are looking for specific healing frequencies here is a quick guide: 1. 174 Hz – Relieves Pain and Stress 2. 285 Hz – Heals Tissues and Organs 3. 396 Hz – Eliminates Fear 4. 417 Hz – Undoing Situations and Facilitating Change 5. 528 Hz – Transformation, Love and Miracles DNA Repair 6. 639 Hz – Connecting and Balancing Relationship 7. 741 Hz – Solving Problems and Awakening Intuition 8. 852 Hz – Returning to Spiritual Order 9. 963 Hz: reconnects Of course, there are other things I implement into my stress relieving protocol like tinctures and essential oils that also help. I believe taking care of yourself should be a daily task just like your chores! . I don’t think it’s selfish to put myself at the top of the list for an hour each day. I am then able to commit 100% to all my other tasks. Thinking holistically by using daily preventative maintenance is what keeps me strong.
Self Care// I thought I'd share my little detox bath routine with you all! I do this 1-2x a week to help support my #mthfr gene. It's super simple, very helpful, and you'll feel amazing afterwards! Do you detox bath regularly? I'd love to hear your tips and favorite recipes! ⠀ ⠀ 1. I prepare a bath. Filtered bath water is best, and at a hot-as-I-can-stand temp. This helps my body to sweat. I don't make it so hot it's burning me, but very, very warm. ⠀ ⠀ 2. I add things to my bath to help relax me, soothe soreness, moisturize, and detox. My favorite oil blend is pictured above (oils are amazing for helping the body detox because they can enter the bloodstream FAST and go to work cleaning up your body. I love Geranium for it's sweet floral scent. It's soothing to my mind, great for my skin, and helps to gently detox. Juniper Berry is an every-bath MUST for me. It is a life-saver when it comes to detoxification. It has a woody smell that's fresh and bright. And Siberian Fir is deeply relaxing, soothing, and mentally grounding for me. You can of course use whatever oils you prefer! The point is to choose something you feel like your body NEEDS. I also love adding dried herbs (above I've added dried lavender, calendula and chamomile, all great for my skin!), along with epsom salts and himalayan pink salt (these are the drawing agents that help pull toxins out of your body, and they also help to emulsify the oils into the water so they don't just float on top!). I almost always add oats as well to help moisturize my skin (if you are gluten sensitive be sure to use gluten-free oats!)⠀ ⠀ 3. I soak for at least 20 minutes, and until my body says it's time to get out. You'll get clues. Feeling too warm, very thirsty, tired and ready to rest... you'll feel it. And you shouldn't stay in longer than that! While detoxing is gentle in many ways, it's also a lot of work for your body and it's important to give it the rest it needs! ⠀ ⠀ 4. I make sure to use the bathroom right after (flush more toxins and avoid bladder issues) and drink a full glass of water! Detoxing is dehydrating and you need to replenish fluids right away afterwards. You'll most likely feel very thirsty! ♥️
[[my favorite drink]] Pretty much anything I drink in front of the Christmas tree. Especially if it has egg nog in it. We haven't put up our tree this year yet but it's coming this week! I'm so ready for all the twinkling lights and winter wonderland and Yule traditions. One of my favorite traditions is we always keep whipped cream on hand during the holidays. Every cup of coffee gets a bit on top. What's one of your favorite traditions? #lovewildtribe #lovewildnovember #favoritedrink #christmastree #christmastime #hygge #aseasonalshift #aslowmoment #darlingdaily
Are you a tea or coffee person? I’m more of a tea person, unless there’s hot chocolate and then I’m a hot chocolate person. Today I’ve had both. It’s fine. I made a loose chai ish blend a couple of years ago that I still use with chicory root and sweetened with molasses. It has cardamom, black pepper, licorice root, clove buds, and star anise...so I could probably add cinnamon except I don’t love it unless it’s in a cinnamon roll 🤷🏻‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Drink // day 12 of #lovewildnovember #lovewildtribe ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #alliseeispretty #alittlebeautyeveryday #searchwandercollect #shewhowanders #shesnotlost #liveunscripted #everysquareastory #inspiremyinstagram #ofsimplethings #momentsofmine #teaandseasons ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #selfcarewarrior #beyourbestself #selflovewarrior #selfcareisnotselfish
I can’t think of a drink I like better than herbal tea with honey. It’s warm and soothes my soul! ☺️ Lately my favorite blend has been @pukkaherbs WOMANKIND tea. You guys, it is SO GOOD! Favorite drink ~ Okay let's be real, it's coffee. A freshly brewed cup with juuust a splash of vanilla almond & cashew milk. But my second favorite? Warm water, with a HEAPING spoonful of local raw honey, one drop of OnGuard, and two drops Lemon. This combo taste SO good you guys, plus it's perfect for this time of year! Natural and effective immune support. A great alternative to keep you healthy this winter ✨ Day 12 / #lovewildnovember @lovewildtribe
Maybe it was the pace of the medicine that drew me in. The lessons that it taught me. To remember that to live in harmony, we can not just take, take, take. As the plant gives, in order to receive, we must give back, too. Maybe we do this by leaving an offering behind when we pick from the ground or maybe it's as simple as stepping into patience. Patience to let nature work its course. Patience to give the medicine time to steep its magic. It's different then just opening a box and using what's inside right at your finger tips, mindlessly. This medicine you watch, you wait, you bless, and you give yourself to it as it gives itself to you 🌼 . . One of my favorite ways to use the flowers and herbs in my cabinet is in tea. Try a batch at home with 2 parts freshly dried chamomile and 1 part freshly dried lavender. Place in a mason jar and pour warm water over, cover the top to hold all the plant love in, and patiently let it steep. A simple cup of coffee with a little coconut milk & local honey is probably my favorite drink. I’ve always preferred to make my own coffee at home rather than a coffee shop. They’re overpriced & pretty much always mess up my picky order. Also, coffee at home just tastes better & feels so much cozier....and you can be dressed or undressed if ya like. ☺️ Whats your favorite thing to sip on? . . . . . #lovewildnovember #Favoritedrink #coffee #morning #home #haven #cozy #vibes #guitar #hibiscus #plants #houseplants #coconut #honey #localhoney #cupofcoffee #hotcoffee #lovewildtribe #fav #simple #classic #monday #coffeelove

What are some of your thanksgiving traditions? Or what’s your favorite thing to make/eat?? 😋 I always make rolls 🤤 One of our best memories was our thanksgiving adventure in Georgia and North Carolina. One of the first photos I posted when I started this account almost three years ago. We hiked tallulah gorge, spent the weekend in a cabin in Franklin, NC, then we hiked some more on Friday, joining in on the whole #optoutside thing instead of Black Friday...even though we’ve only done a Black Friday once 😂 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Remembering // day 11 of #lovewildnovember
Day 6 #lovewildnovember // Favorite oil blend ✨💜 I first discovered doTERRA’s Console blend after a best friend passed away. I was told some call it ‘the grief blend’ for its alleviating and comforting tones, so in that instant I ordered it to help myself function through that time. Then I discovered it had patchouli as a main ingredient, it’s no wonder I already loved it. I use it everyday at one time or another or maybe all throughout the day depending on how I feel. It’s an oil I take everywhere so I’m not without it when I need it. Swipe and you’ll also see the blend of oils I’ve been diffusing all week. The #droughtlander is finally over and this blend from @parisiennefarmgirl smells like what my imagination knows the Scottish highlands to smell like. Inspired by ~ the land, the trees, the water. Learning from the plants and animals, how they live and thrive on what nature provides, how they adapt to the changes around around them. Finding tranquility in listening to the wind rush through the trees, motivation in watching the movement of water, and a sense of grounding and gratitude in walking barefoot across the Earth. ✨Inspired✨ Day 10 I know I’m going to cry my eyes out typing it but he’s worth the tears. He’s my inspiration, my motivation and my guardian angel. He was my best friend and my partner in crime. Inspiration is everywhere. Isn’t that the point of Instagram? But authenticity is not always part of it. When I think of people who inspire me, quite a few come to mind. But lately, it’s @underatinroof who is quite literally making me see what dreams are made of. What my own dreams are. I’ve always wanted to own a business with my sisters & my mom. One that includes greenhouses, homemade goods & all things beautiful. This incredible small family business is here in Iowa. Just like me. Kayla is one the sweetest women. The whole family is incredible. Go see what they’ve been up to and give them whatever support you can! Prepare to be inspired. Hey everyone! It’s been a hot minute since I have introduced myself to you all so here goes! I’m Lisa, the woman behind all these little squares hoping to inspire you to live a simple and chemical free lifestyle! We’re a minimalist family. And I don’t mean that in the sense that we are fashionable, with a minimalist decor, I mean that we each only have 10 items of clothing, that 4 of us live in 160 square feet and have empty cupboards, that instead of overloading our children with activities, schedules and curricula we let them truly live and explore life. But, I am a collector of one thing and there is no reasoning with me 🤫. I need to have all the essential oils 😏. I love them all. I use them all. I feel empowered with them to care for my family in the most natural way possible and I share that here, to inspire people to live a toxin and chemical free life with us! Self portrait | Intro #lovewildnovember Hey babes! I’m Amanda and I’m an oil guide and dōTERRA advocate ♥️ I love learning about how these oils can heal our bodies and I love sharing what I learn. I will sit and geek our with you over oils, astrology and our dreams. I have 3 kiddos and I’ve been married to my best friend for 13 years. We met in church when we were 7/8 and I knew then I wanted to marry that dark haired boy in the third row ♥️ We live back in the woods with no neighbors and wild life all around us. I will be 32 on the 16th and it’s hard to believe. That happened super freaking fast 😂 I am an old soul. I love 70s and 80s rock. Def Leppard is my favorite ever. Poison is a close second 🙌🏻 also I have the biggest crush on Steviie Nicks 😉 I think she’s fabulous! I love knitting and shopping for yarn 👵🏼 also can drink copious amounts of coffee 💁🏼‍♀️ I also LOVE being outside, fall is my favorite season and snow is my favorite thing to see. My husband just became an over the road trucker and we went from seeing each other every day to 5-6 times a month, so that has been a huge adjustment. But it’s fine. I’m fine. Not really it’s horrible 😂 I’ve met my soul sisters on the internet and have never met them in person, but I know if I needed them they would help me if they could. Same for them. These ladies are inspiring, strong, beautiful, badasses who make me want to be a better person. And you guys know who you are 😘 and I can’t wait to see you guys. One random thing about me is that I’ve always wanted to be a part of the SNL cast. Like throwing it back to season 1 when all my favorites were on. Gilda Radner is my favorite and I loved what she brought to the show. Okay tell me something about you guys!! I wanna know all the things 😘 Btw this photo was me and my girls playing dress up, I had more makeup on my face that day than ever before 😂 totally not my thing 🙈 • • • • • #lovewildtribe #simplethingsoflife #inspiredaily #in2nature #thesemoments #bedeeplyrooted #selfcare #inspiremyinstagram #bighairdontcare #wildandfree #witchywoman #hippiemama #staywild #wildsoul
I’ve shared this photo before but it really is my favorite self portrait. Just me in my tiny garden, feeling so proud of my green thumb abilities. For those of you that are new to my page, let me tell you a little bit about myself... I’m a momma to a sweet & kinda wild little boy. Wife to my favorite man (who I’ve been with for about 16 years). Wow that seems crazy when I see it typed out! 😳 I love gardening, herbalism, cooking all the plant based meals, cold beers, bonfires, moon lit skies, prairie hiking, sunshine and so many more things about nature that I can’t even fit into this space. I’m an Oil Guide with @lovewildtribe and love sharing how I incorporate essential oils & natural remedies into my lifestyle. You will see a lot of the above topics on this page and I hope you find it enjoyable. Being goofy and compassionate. Living in the present, while Byron keeps us balanced on the other end. Currently folding laundry and day dreaming about snowboarding. Always multitasking. And like most of you, I'm just doing the most that I can each day (there's never enough hours to do it all 😌) and finding myself and my place on our Earth 💖 -- Who can relate?! -- Day 9 / #lovewildnovember / #lovewildtribeoilguide / @lovewildtribe

I believe this with all my heart. And am learning it more and more every year of my life. How has this been true in your experience? How have you seen new and beautiful things spring up after leaving behind an identity, relationship, job, or season of life you thought would, or should never end? Homemade ~ Always making my own "things" for our home. Wether it's cleaners, laundry and dish soap, beauty products, or skin salves - it's important for me to know what is going into these "things", eliminating toxins from our lives, not worrying about dangerous chemicals around Aspen, and having fun connecting with the healing plants around us. This morning I brewed up a jar of diaper salve and the other is a wound salve. Made from the same base of: - equal parts dried Calendula, Chamomile, and Lavender - infused with equal parts Olive and Coconut oil, enough to make sure all the flowers are coated and covered. - let sit over a double boiler on low heat for an hour - separate oils from flowers with a cheesecloth, bring the oil back to the double boiler and stir in 2tb beeswax until melted At this point I let it cool for just a minute, then pour it into two jars. Then let it cool even further for about 5 minutes before adding essential oils. Baby Salve: - 8 Myrrh - 8 Geranium - 8 Frankincense - 5 Melaleuca Wound Salve: - 10 Frankincense - 10 Helichrysum - 6 Melaleuca - 10 Myrrh - 10 Clove Check out my stories to learn more about these oils ✨ Day 8 / #lovewildnovember @lovewildtribe *PLEASE make sure you use quality products and pure essential oils. There are SO many false advertised brands out there, so if you need any information on where to get oils and how to use them, message me!
What are some of your new home rituals? @nishariggs sent me this beautiful smudge stick to welcome us to our new home. It's made by @elementsofsage who uses the sage that grows wild all over Utah (my home state! and @themountainhoney totally helped me and @hawriverhomestead find and forage some while we were there in September) Smudging is a Native American custom that calls on the spirits of sacred plants to drive away negative energy and bring harmony. This smudge is paired with a chrysocolla stone which helps to draw off negative energies and lavender which is soothing and calming. I went ahead and wrote up a "homemade" little blessing for our new home that I'll be using while smudging: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Bless this home with light and love No harm will come to those within Abundance flows within these walls and breathes relief for all Blessed shall this home be With hope and peace and harmony So it be So it be So it be ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Yeah...it's #kindahippiekindawitchy and I love it. A lot of people cleanse their homes, but you can also bless or protect your home with a "threshold blessing" which creates a sort of energetic or symbolic doorway to your home...so if things look weird tonight as I walk around my yard tonight with this sage on fire, that's why. It’s fine. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Other traditions: ♥ place a piece of iron under the doormat (folk magic; symbolizes protection) ♥ bury a knife or horseshoe around the foundation posts (Scottish) ♥ roll a pineapple into your home ( welcomes prosperity; Chinese) ♥ get a blessing from a priest (various religions) ♥ paint your porch "haint blue" (Gullah tradition, because spirits can't cross water) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #lovewildnovember day 8 // homemade . . . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #oddities #smudgestick #pagansofinstagram #lovewildtribe #abmhome #bohemianhome #thenewbohemians #suburbanwitch #urbanwitch #witchythings #igkc #missouri_photos #bohemiandecor #bohemianmodern
Wild | Outdoors ~ Stay curious little girl. Explore the land. Listen to the wind. Talk to the animals. Play in the dirt. Walk barefoot. And most of all, love our Earth and love each other. Day 7 / #lovewildnovember @lovewildtribe
According to the EPA, average Americans spend about 93% of their time indoors (87% inside buildings and 6% inside vehicles). This works out to about 1 half day per week spent outside! Additionally, studies show that children are spending less than half the time outdoors than their parents did! The point is, most of us spend way too much time indoors! ⠀ ⠀ There are some surprising and amazing health benefits to being outside in nature! I personally feel many of these effects when I spend time outdoors, and I try to do it as often as possible! My mind is clearer, my heart lighter, and my body feels better! Plus, it's just beautiful outside! ⠀ ⠀ Here are a few great reasons why we should go outside more: ⠀ ⠀ 🌲For children (and adults!) being outdoors can help promote confidence, boost creativity and imagination, and build responsibility. It encourages them to think and move their bodies, and stimulates them to observe and learn. It's also incredibly stress relieving and fights depression and fatigue. ⠀ ⠀ 🌲 Some studies show that walking in nature helps to boost short-term memory! ⠀ ⠀ 🌲 Many studies have proved that being in nature de-stresses the mind and body significantly. It lowers cortisol levels and can decreases heart rates and lowers blood pressure. ⠀ ⠀ 🌲 Being outside can reduce inflammation! Several studies done suggest that people who spend time outside more have lower inflammation levels. Additionally, people who deal with inflammation issues regularly often find a decrease in inflammation after spending time outdoors. ⠀ ⠀ 🌲Being outside helps fight fatigue and brain fog. The air is clearer and purer (surprisingly, most often the air outside is less polluted that the air inside), and this gives your brain a boost of energy and life. ⠀ ⠀ 🌲 Being outside can help fight anxiety and depression. One study found that walking in the forest decreased anxiety levels significantly because it increases "feel-good" chemicals in the brain and body! ⠀ ⠀ There are so many more reasons to get outside often! It's so good for us! ♥️🌲
Day 7 [[Outdoors]] I love being outside. The hardest part of winter here for me is the constant rain which makes it difficult to be outdoors for long stretches of time. Earlier this week I took two of my littles and we snuck down the trail that's right by our house. Every time we do this, we walk along this super busy street for about 20 steps before the trail leads off into a pocket of forest. Every time I look out and marvel at where we live. How even in the midst of a bustling city, there are glorious trees *everywhere*. Tall firs, proud cedars, sprawling oaks and homey maples. The PNW never really gave in to the idea that people should be separated from nature. Throughout our cities we have bits of forests, preserves, parks, streams, mountains towering in our horizons and skies lit up with gold to remind us that nature is truly our home. #lovewildtribe #lovewildnovember #pnw #pacificnwscenery #sunset #pagan #plantsmakepeoplehappy #natureisnurture #greenwitch #forestwitch #hippievibes #darlingdaily #whimsicalwonderfulwild #seekinspirecreate #instawitch #outdoors @lovewildtribe
Listen to the wind... it talks Listen to the silence... it speaks Listen to your heart... it knows (Native American proverb) ⠀⠀ Follow your heart. Probably one of the most over used sayings I can think of 🤷🏻‍♀️😁 But our heart is our greatest compass. Nature is constantly reminding me to slow down, tune in to my intuition + trust in the universe. ⠀⠀ 🌲Essential Oils for Adventurers: ⠀⠀ Deep Blue | relieve sore aching muscles Digestzen | reduce motion sickness ⠀⠀ Tea tree | soothe bug bites, clean scrapes, etc. ⠀⠀ Lavender | minor first aid, reduce redness + pain, promote healing ⠀⠀ Peppermint and/or Lemon | boost energy, clear airways, reduce seasonal discomforts + environmental threats ⠀⠀ What oils do you carry with you when you travel or go on adventures?? 🌿✨ Day 7 // Outdoors // #lovewildnovember
Sonnet To Fall . . How like a gypsy is this autumn day. She paints the trees with her sensuous brush. Burnt-umber, soft gold, bright orange, then gay Cerulean blue for the skies. A blush of pink reflects the indolent clouds that have dreamed the night through with a fading Moon, stealing away like a lover. Crowds of golden sunflowers dance as serenading crickets play their castanets for their mates. Birds sing secret songs while hiding in folds of rust-skirted oaks. A bee hesitates, then drinks his fill from musty marigolds. At sundown, locust violins foretell tomorrow’s fate. “Sleep, Love. I got caught up yesterday and forgot to post for @lovewildtribe photo challenge. Yesterday's prompt was favorite oil blend and I have to go with Anchor. It has such a beautiful scent and is perfect for those days I need extra grounding. It tends to irritate my skin (there's some hot oils in there like black pepper and cinnamon) so I put a drop in my hands, dub them together and breathe deeply. This blend immediately helps me feel balanced and grounded. 🍁 Outdoor 🍁 • Day 7 • I know I bash on Ohio sometimes, but it can be beautiful! The hills, the trees (especially in the fall), sunrises and sunsets in the country- it doesn’t get better than that! What’s nice is my house and work have beautiful views 😍 Nature is wonderful! And hopefully going on a hike today too ✨ • • #essentiallycheyanne #outdoors #fall #beauty #nature #photochallenge #lovewildnovember #lovewildtribe @lovewildtribe
Favourite oil blend // cheer is my go to for everyday perfume I just love the smell. Easy Air/Breathe is my knight in shining armour for my asthma this blend was the reason I got into oils in the first place. I’ve been able to use my steroid inhaler once maybe twice a year because of Easy Air... Day 6 #lovewildnovember #lovewildtribe #oilsarelife #oilssavedme #essentialoils #doterra #essentiallife
Favorite Oil Blend || Day 6 Hands down my favorite and most used oil blend is Whisper. It’s beautiful. I have a purefume mist and then I made a roller so it can go with me everywhere. Because each woman is unique this blend actually changes the scent because of our chemical make up. How freaking cool is that?? It helps to balance hormones, uplift your mood, put in you the mood if you know what I mean 😉 apply it to your pulse points and lower abdomen if you have low libido. I blame wanting more children on this oil paired with Jasmine 🙈 The oils in this blend include: Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Patchouli (my favorite), vanilla, Jasmine (other fav), Cinnamon (also helps with low libido), Labdanum, Vetiver, sandalwood, cocoa bean and Rose ♥️ It’s a sexy oil ladies. It’s basically the perfect blend for my fellow Scorpios also. Basically go try this blend. You won’t be sorry 😉 ♥️ The cute crystal sticker is from @frank.and.lime and the beautiful bottle is from @woodandoils 😍 • • • • • #lovewildnovember #lovewildtribe #essentialoils #doterraessentialoils #doterraliving #hippiemama #hippiesoul #staywild #in2nature #bedeeplyrooted #witchy #hippie
Favorite oil blend ~ Since I have a favorite one for every occasion or feeling, I thought I'd share my go to for this time of year. -- ° One that energizes and wakes the mind and body on these cold and dark mornings ° Fights infections ° Opens up and stimulates the respiratory system -- Use these two by either diffusing them, adding a drop of each to a wash cloth placed in while you shower, or take a drop or two of each with a carrier oil and apply to your chest - breathing in what's left on your hands while you feel your mind awaken and your airways open up 🌬️ -- Day 6 / #lovewildnovember @lovewildtribe
FAVORITE OIL BLEND // ⠀ ⠀ I love blessing my family by diffusing doTERRA's oils! They do so much to help our family function just a bit better! From soothing sore sinuses, relieving congestion, improving mood and cognitive ability, to relaxing and aiding in sleep, we can do so much with just a few drops of precious oil! We enjoy coming up with fun blends together, and it’s something the whole family gets into! We even keep a little notebook by the diffuser to scribble down our favorites and we pull from them over and over again. ⠀ ⠀ So, while I have a very hard time choosing favorites, I will say that this blend has been a favorite this week! We just cannot get enough! It’s bright, cheerful, and delicious! It helps open sinuses, relieve head tension, and relieve congestion, plus it smells just like a root beer float! I mean, seriously, JUST LIKE it! So that's fun and happy and makes everyone's day a little bit sweeter! (Recipe below!) ⠀ ⠀ Do you have a favorite diffuser blend? Please share with us! We'd love to try it out!! ⠀ ⠀ ROOT BEET FLOAT ⠀ 💧💧💧💧 citrus bliss ⠀ 💧💧 wintergreen ⠀ 💧💧 fennel ⠀ ⠀ Note: If you don't have wintergreen and fennel yet, you can achieve a similar smell with deep blue and citrus bliss. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #lovewildnovember day 6 #lovewildtribe #healingbeginsathome #nurturedessentials #diffuserblends #doterralifestyle #oilsforthewin #smellssogoodinhere #rootbeerfloat #deliciousness
Day 6. Favorite oil blend. Bergamot & Balance. Ritual: 1 drop of each in the palm of my hand, every single morning before everything else. Breathe in deeply and release. •Bergamot is a citrus oil that supports me emotionally, especially during those long Iowa winters that always bring on the blues. •Balance is doTERRA’s Grounding Blend. It’s about as earthy as they get. It smells like walking through the pines and soothes my soul in a way that is so comforting. Have you tried essential oils for emotional support? What’s your go to oil? 🔹Favorite Blend🔹 ▪️Day 6▪️ • Serenity is where my oil journey started in the first place. I love love love this oil! I use it religiously, to sleep, to calm my nerves, to lower my stress- it’s an amazing oil. Then breathe is in the top 5 of my favorites but added with serenity, you can’t go wrong! • We actually diffused this last night for 1. I’ve had a bad cough for almost a week now and 2. We have a hyper active kitten who likes to wake us up playing at 2-3 in the morning, so we hoped it would calm him. Since he’s small but our bedroom is pretty big, plus we left our door open- we only stuck 2 drops of each in. I feel like he slept a whole lot better! Don’t get me wrong- I love when he plays! Just not in my bed at all hours of the morning 😂 • • • • #essentiallycheyanne #daysix #favblend #lovelovelove #photochallenge #wildnovember #lovewildtribe @lovewildtribe

Day 3 #lovewildnovember // Mornings like these with my little family 🍁Please and thank you more mornings like these. Also, I need to get back up in the mountains as soon as possible. #lovewildtribe #pnwhomestead #leaves
[[comfort]] The woods have always been where I run for comfort. These trees on this trail are as familiar to me as my friends. Their energies bring me strength and peace and always comfort me when life gets overwhelming. Ever since taking over this little shop, my life has become so stressful and hectic. I took some time this week to write and cry and try to figure out why I feel so disconnected from *me* and more importantly how to fix that. I've been lacking in balance and I haven't made time for the things I love. Like walks in the woods. I still have so much on my plate but I'm no longer letting this store be my every waking thought. It's not worth it if I lose myself. It's not worth it if it takes away my peace. So today we walked in the woods and I took comfort from these trees, from the smell of wet earth and cedar and fir, from the sound of the babbling Creek and the croaking frogs. I grabbed my foraging bag which has hung unused for several months and much to my surprise I found the tarot cards and Oracle deck I've been missing. They were just waiting for me to remember what I need most. #lovewildnovember #lovewildtribe #plantmagic #greenwitch #hedgewitch #autumnvibes #darlingdaily #whimsicalwonderfulwild #seekinspirecreate #documentyourdays #livewild #forestsoul #walkinthewoods #liveintentionally #liveauthentic
Comfort // Is there anything more comforting on a grey, rainy day than potato soup? And specifically this wholesome organic potato kale soup with goat cheese and bacon? I think not! ⠀ ⠀ I used to think that comfort food meant eating stuff that tasted good, even if it wasn’t good for me. I still struggle with that at times, but I’ve begun to learn over the last few years that true comfort foods are things your body needs. And when I make the temporary “sacrifice” of saying no to feel-good junk food and choose the more lasting, real food, I’ll feel better, my mind will be less cluttered, my moods more even, and my body will be so grateful! So here’s to choosing true comfort foods! You can truly change so much about your health just by being conscious about your food choices and listening to your body’s needs a bit more. ♥️⠀ ⠀ Day 5 of #lovewildtribe challenge ⠀ ⠀ #lovewildnovember #potatosoup #rainydaymood #moodyfood #comfortfood #foodismedicine #eattolive #choosebetter #nurtureandnourish
