My afternoon classes got cancelled because of the snow! And as I got excited for all the free time I have to do some of the things it got me thinking... what are some of your guys’ favourite things to do? Too often I come on here and think peoples’ lives revolve completely around keto, but there’s so much more to us than what we eat! I love to sing and play guitar (this song is called Daughters by Youth). I love to crochet and watch Netflix (I’m living @strangerthingstv right now which shocks me because I really didn’t think it would be for me but here I am...). I also love to read and drink hot chocolate. There’s so much more but that’s what’s pictured here. Alright, your turn! Tell me what you love to do! 😊

Just wanted to say a big hello to the new followers who found me via my husband's "Keto food porn" photo post taken from my Instagram account on the /r/keto subreddit! Thanks for all your incredibly kind words. I also want to make sure that everyone here on Instagram knows about the Keto subreddit. You have to check it out! It's an amazing and supportive community. Maybe the nicest place on the Internet. Full of everyday miraculous keto success stories, recipes, opportunities to learn, chances to vent and share frustrations, and chat with people during all stages of their keto journeys. Even if you aren't a "Reddit person" -- and believe me, I wasn't either before Jack convinced me to try it -- you won't regret making it part of your daily browsing habits. Lots of love to you, Reddit keto fam!
Day 38: I really need to take my measurements. Someone needs to remind meeee lol
My scrub pants are falling off. I used to hang my scrub tops to dry so they didn’t shrink. I don’t do that anymore and they are loose anyways. I’m so fucking proud of myself. I can’t even explain how good I feel.
I’ve got a long way to go. But I’m turning words into actions. And gettin shit done ✅ 💪🏻

Long update for personal journaling purposes. Feel free to skip! We’re back from CA and right back to Keto. We did some hiking in JTree and walked what felt like thousands of miles every day at Disneyland so, on top of wanting to experience Disneyland the *right* way - iconic food included (duh), we felt justified in our choice to indulge. Plus, I knew I wouldn’t be losing weight this month anyway (something I’ll touch on later). We planned to do Keto while on this trip - as we always do (however unrealistic that is) & got through Joshua tree with our usual lunch meats, cheeses, & pork rinds + the rad discovery that my favorite fast food place (sadly yet thankfully not located in UT), Jack In the Box, has Keto breakfast options. Then we started considering just how difficult it would be to bring Keto food into the park; how we might not enjoy eating meat, cheese, hard eggs, & pork rinds for a straight week; somehow keep it cold for 12 hours per day; how hungry we might feel after walking with potentially nothing to keep us satiated; how we might be missing out on something special; etc. & we eventually decided we’d break Keto. Surprisingly, we were rarely hungry at Disney so we didn’t even try all that we wanted to & when we did try something, we’d all share it. Like 1 Dole Whip for all. Also surprisingly, the food wasn’t *that* good. I didn’t like the Dole Whip or the churro or the corn dog (😱) that much. The breakfast we had at Carnation Cafe was just whatever. I didn’t like the gourmet hot dogs or pizza we had at night after leaving Disney either. We truly missed Keto foods & how Keto makes us feel. Like this yummy combo of pork rinds, jalapeño cream cheese, & salami 🤤 which I was SO happy to finally eat today. Anyway, here are most of the foods we tried. The one meal that absolutely lived up to our expectations & felt worth it was the monte cristo sandwich, pomme frites, & the mac & cheese from Cafe Orleans. So good we had it twice! We had mint chip & Oreo ice cream cones from that one shop on Main Street, too, which were obviously great. Anyway, Keto still rules & we’re excited to not have any special occasions coming up so we can focus on our goals 🤘🏼

Working from home today so I decided to try my hand at keto chicken tenders for lunch 😋
Sausage stew with cauliflower rice 😍👏🏻
