SPM: When your customizing LPS do you have an idea for it, or do you think of one as your making the custom?
: I kinda come up with a little prompt in my head first. Then I start putting into reality.
SPM: Sounds cool! So what kind of paints do you use and what do you recommend?
: I use Apple Barrel paints, and I HIGHLY recommend them. They’re really good quality for pretty cheap. I do however suggest mixing water into the white if you’re painting a white base.
SPM: Ok. Great. What bases do you think customs are cutest on?
: I personally think any base will make a cute custom. But... if I had to choose... I’d probably go with collie or shorthair cat.
SPM: What would you do if someone was stealing your custom ideas?
: I’d be kinda mad... cause I’ve dealt with a thief/copier before and that was really rough... If anyone is considering stealing or copying a custom idea. Ask the artist if you may use it... if they say no.. respect them and don’t copy... and if they say “yes, but please give me credit for the design,” respect that as well.
SPM: Great. For customs what do you recommend for small details?
: For dots I recommend the end of a paint brush, a dotting tool, or even one of those circle push pins lol. For lines...I’d use a push pin, a sewing needle, or a fine brush. (Yes I’ve used all of those for lines lol)
Spm: Last question. How do you feel about the custom community?
: It’s..... AMAZING! Everyone is so creative and really sweet too! I’m friends with a few of them and they’ve been super helpful and kind... heck one even got me into customizing.. (ty @my.cute.lps.customs
