I went from this lean, mean, energetic, gym and donut lovin’ machine to a very tired, fluffy, kind of gym lovin’ machine. .
Being pregnant has definitely challenged me! I am so use to popping up in the morning whether I got a night sleep or not and running out to the gym.
Now approaching 25 weeks, I have hit a new level of exhaustion. One where, I don’t even care to work out... but I still do it... after about 3-4 sets of an exercise, I will finally get into it! But out of the 15 years of training, this is the first time ever, I have struggled to get my training in and it had messed with my head but I have to check myself and realize, I am creating life and sometimes, I need extra rest.
Sometimes, we need to listen to our bodies instead of listening to everyone on the internet saying “go hard” and feeling guilty for not going HAM on days that we need rest. So my transformation is really different.... listening to my body more. I’ll have an update picture later this week of my bump and tomorrow, I’ll be posting some bad ass workouts... so stay tuned. ❤️

To do it yourself do 10-15 reps of standing lat pulls to your chest, rest about 5-10 seconds, then sit down and do about 6-12 more from the seated position. You can vary your grip from the standing to seated pulldown too for even more diversity. If you do the same amount of reps both standing and seated make the weight a little heavier on the second set. -

My really dissatisfied face, mid-run trying to take a sweaty selfie, to prove how much it’s killing me 🤣 30 minutes in, did 10 gradient most of the way and 7.0 speed! Managed over 80KG on my legs and hoping to feel the burn 🔥✨👯♀️ Day off tomorrow to recover and then Thursday, I’m straight back there! One little step at a time! 🙌🏽
