One day advance birthday celebration with my loved ones 😘 Thanks for the costly macarons @tiansheng91
There are a few things that I’ve learned this past year:
1. Always laugh and see things from the optimistic view ~ in life, many things are very stressful, most of the time our plates are gonna be super full. This year was a hectic year for me, started out with a full blown breakdown with doubts and complaints from parents saying that my laoshi and i were too young and inexperienced to teach K2s. We had to face them head on and prove to them our capabilities and we have won their hearts over. The planning of the k2 graduation concert was a whole new level too, tons of things to prepare and many things are subjected to approval from the higher management. Changes were made again and again to appease them. Yet with all these challenges, it felt really good to take a moment to calm down and think from a positive point. “A happy heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.” Proverbs 17:22
2. My health is my responsibility. I chose my job and along with it comes all the viruses and illnesses due to close contact with children. Yet, this job holds lots of passion for me hence i’m sticking with my choice. If that means i have to pay more attention to my health, i had to do it. Had a close call with bronchitis this year, and worried my loved ones a lot. I won’t give up my passion just because of that but i will work harder to prevent the illnesses and build up my immune system.
3. Always be grateful for small things, never ever take anyone for granted. There are many people i want to thank for many things this year. Thank you for loving me, supporting me, advising me, accompanying me, growing with me. Thank you for taking steps to compromise for me, for agreeing with me, enduring me, teaching me. Thank you to everyone who stayed with me through the hard times especially. Love you all 😘
4. Lastly, i’m gonna make more efforts to control my emotions, be it at work or in my personal life. Here’s my pinky promise 🤗
