Our featured staff member today is Mandie Nech! Mandie is TFT’s Finance Coordinator and has been with the team since 2016. She leads our Spanish speaking trips throughout South America and Europe. Travelling has changed her life and she loves being a part of exposing young people to travel. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mandie lived in Spain for 4 years where she taught English. While there she kept a daily sketch journal, which she filled with photos and drawings of her travels. She loves looking back through her journeys as a way to feed her travel bug when she isn’t on the road.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mandie discovered her best tip for being a traveller and not a tourist while on an 18 day backpacking trip through Turkey, Israel, and Jordan. She believes trying all the local cuisine, keeping an open mind and flexible schedule is the greatest way to immerse herself in different cultures!
