One of the largest salt desert in the world, The Great Rann of Kutch, is also one of the most picturesque place I've been to.
It's a salt marsh located in Thar Desert in the Kutch district of Gujarat, India and extends up to Indus River in the southern Pakistan.
Apart from the vast white desert (which was looking more like a snow land from above) the Kutchi region also hosts a some wildlife sanctuaries, beautiful and serene beaches and a world heritage site from ancient Harappan civilization.
Locals of the Kutch district host Rann Utsav, a heritage festival to promote their culture, tradition, and heritage at the end of every year which pans out from November to February. This is the perfect time to visit and live the enrich culture of Kutch, and also Gujarat!
So here's my #NamasteyAbstory
from Kutch to you guys!
(Psst.. this is from last year. This year I'm stuck at work. Sigh!) @vineetgarg90
