Transformation Time!! I LOVE transformation pics!!! You know, when you come across a picture of yourself from a few years ago and think WOW. Then you put it right next to one from today and are amazed how far you’ve come!!😁 I fully, 100% believe that the BEST way to make the BEST life for yourself is by making small changes daily, that are consistent, where you make progress every month towards that better you. My victories have all been small since the beginning. I may not have had 50+ pounds to loose but I was unhealthy for sure.
In the past 3 years I have ....... 💗lost close to 20lbs and kept it off! 🍩made better food choices (most days lol) 💪🏻gained some serious muscle definition and strength 👖gone down 4 pant sizes 👚3 shirt sizes 💗gained more self love and worth 👩🏻⚕️👩🏼👱🏻♀️👩🏻💼👩💻💁🏻♀️ found a tribe of beautiful loving souls
I’d say that those things are WORTH the small investment I made into myself 3 years ago wouldn’t you??? I’m still going STRONG!! Why stop with just the things I’ve listed? Why not gain more out of life?

As we grow up, we find that we have less and less time to do things that we NEED to do, let alone what we WANT to do.
This is why it's important to find a way to balance it all.
If you're like me, and always multitasking, planning out your day-to-day life is CRUCIAL in being able to hit all your daily goals, and then some!
This can be very chaotic, and without proper planning can lead to negative feelings of overwhelmingness, tiredness, burnout, and more!
For the past 5 weeks, I've been using this checklist to plan out my week-by-week, and day-to-day goals and things I need to do. Althougj very basic and general, I find that it helps me plan out what I need to plan in order to get things done! Try it for yourself and share your results by tagging me in a post, or DM me!

A quick 30 minute upper body workout this afternoon!
My favorite quote,”Don’t wishfor it, work for it!” Prior to this workout: stress from work day, tired😆, husband asking me to help him outside, getting kids dinner served (this is where prepping my meals is a saving grace🙏), clothes need to be washed and my mind is saying, “Just hurry up and get it done!” Everything else will follow!

Remember play time as a kid? The joyous sense of carefree abandonment, the total disregard for time, the lack of self-consciousness...
Where does that go? At what point do we lose the inclination to play spontaneously & instead relegate unsubscripted fun to the sidelines? The answer, of course, lies in the responsibilities & reality of adult life. Play can seem frivolous amidst work-life balance, a full social calendar, & so much heartache in the world.
Yet reconnecting with out inner child & allowing ourselves to enjoy uninhibited fun & laughter can work wonders for physical & psychological wellbeing. It can also rekindle the sense of awe that so often diminishes as the years go by. Seeing the leaves change colour in autumn, the stars twinkling in a busy night sky or a raindrop falling gently on a windowsill; imagine feeling your inner child’s astonishment again.
Even though the world’s events often incite an air of melancholy, there is still much to inspire, delight & be optimistic about.
Everyday is a beautiful new adventure. Breath and make time for yourself!

After my office workout yesterday I discussed with some coworkers utilizing our time during the day to workout together! All five of us did a short workout with some stretching, upper and lower body, and lots of laughs! We have decided to do this four days a week together! We have also decided to make it like a 90 day challenge to get healthier, fitter, drink more water, and have fun! We all weighed and made goals for our fitness! When are you more likely to not skip a workout?
A. You have no one to work out with and no one will know (or care) if you don’t do it.
B. You have no one to work out with, but a few others, who will be completing the same workout, are expecting you to do it.
I would assume most of you would say B because accountability works! You wouldn’t want to be the only one missing the workout.
If you’ve struggled in the past to meet your health and fitness goals, consider this: I have a challenge starting with a small group of people who will all be working out, eating right, and, if you join, they will be expecting you to do the same.

Working out from home is freeing!!! I don’t have to leave this precious jewel with anyone and drive somewhere else, sweat, and then drive back to get her only to stuff her in the seat again to drive home. She also doesn’t have to be exposed to any flu/stuffy nose germs that would make my life harder. Seriously. .
Every workout is not killer, and sometimes she does depart from her normal chatty and exploring self to be needy and cranky, but that’s ok! .
So how do I stay motivated at home? One simple secret. Are you ready for this truth bomb? 💣
I make it my routine. That’s it! It’s a habit that I do without thinking about filling that time slot with anything else. I wake up, go potty, brush teeth, chug water, drink pre-workout “Go-Juice”, read His Word and get the workout done. Eyelids popping open to finishing the workout takes about 1 hour. That’s it! I’m set for the day! .
My body has used its fat stores for fuel, I’ve used and strained muscles under tension so that they release the fat within them to form tighter, leaner strands. My energy is through the roof, and my satisfaction is sky-high! My endorphins are relaxing yet invigorating. I’m ready to crush the day! .
All of this had no driving, no waking of children, getting them dressed and fed, out the door and in the car. None of it! .

NEW CHAPTER/ I’ve been anxious and nervous lately if I can be honest. We are moving about an hour south of Boston by the end of the month and I have been getting in my own way trying to come up with excuses for why maybe it is a bad idea.
Everything we had here is familiar and it’s where we started our family.
I wasn’t entirely ready to give that all up.
Then, about a week ago, I started listening to @melrobbinslive
new audio book #kickass
. It feels more like a talk show where People sit down with Mel, explain their problems weather it be relationships, work or health problems. You get to listen to their live counseling sessions and Mel has this way of talking. It’s tough love form of giving advice but it really works to help people get unstuck.
So I took and used the following tip she gives. “If you feel that’s you are ready for a new change in your life. Identify the old chapter and all of its characteristics that it involves and then identify the new chapter with all of its characteristics as well”.
So I went at it :
The old Chapter I call it “The family Start up”, finding myself as a new mom, stay at home to take care of my kid’s, finding balance with all being a mom involves without losing myself in it (that’s where yoga came in 😉).
The New chapter I call “The family Glow up” (which I took from her book, but it fits so why not ?) it’s about development, growth as a family and myself Glowing while at it, trying new things, explore this new area we will live in, connecting with a new yoga community and so much more to discover.
After re-reading all this it became so clear that we were in fact making the right move.
