Loved learning how to fish at mammoth pools and then learning to fillet ❤️🎣 the view wasn’t bad either 😍 #mammothpools
All my most cherished memories always take place in nature. Sharing my love for the outdoors with Remi is so important to me. I want it to be engrained in her, in hopes that she will learn of life’s simple joys. It doesn’t take much to truly be happy. Just good company and some fresh air can do wonders. 🧡🌲⛰💫!
Just got back from a fun week camping in Mammoth Pools. Bummed about the fires in Yosemite though, made for misty skies and unhappy allergies. But, we still got to enjoy all the wake boarding, wake skating, exploring pools, and jumping off rocks. I’ve never seen Remi so dirty yet so happy 😃. #ridinwiththerondos #remiyolande
Love the contrast of the burnt bark on the trees and the softness of the grasses. Three years ago they had to do a control burn to protect the campground. Now they're subject to the bark beetle. Finding the hidden beauty. #mammothpools #naturesway #naturephotography
⚠️Warning: Geology discussion⚠️ Look at the rock in the first picture. I found it years ago on a California beach. You can see how it has been eroded by the constant waves rolling it around in the sand with other rocks. The second picture is a large rock feature on Chiquito Creek. Thousands of years of water rushing over it, with debris and sand and rocks, like polish. Then look at the videos, the rock features that I am swimming through, big carved out caverns and pools.
This illustrates how flowing water affects rocks over a long period of time.
So...I’m curious why flowing creeks or crashing waves polish and erode rocks, without decomposing them, but standing water like a lake decomposes rocks, making them crumbly.
Polished shaped rocks are more beautiful to me than decomposed crumbly rocks.
Maybe we can say that movement crates more beauty than stagnation.

Boat babies are the cutest babies. Life jackets make for adorable squishy cheeks 😍 #remiyolande
It's been a fun week spent on the lake in the beautiful mountains. Went wake boarding every day, tried wake skating for the first time (so fun), played on the jet skis, kayaked, hiked lots of waterfalls, jumped off cliffs and bridges, and found tons of pretty pools to swim in. Perfect family vacation 👌🏼 #chasepluslisa #mammothpools
Finally made it to one of Chase's fav places in the world, Mammoth Pools! 🌲💦 Def a little slice of heaven. #mammothpools
My nieces and nephews are good motivation 💦 Stoked to be in the mountains, always feels like home! #mammothpools
