📍 Estadio Hernando Siles, La Paz, Bolivia ⚽️
A couple of people have asked me about blagging our way in to Bolivia's National Stadium, there's no secret, we just asked!
We were having a wander around and multiple people told us the ground doesn't offer tours due to it being both @clubbolivaroficial
's home turf and that it would be too dangerous to have both fans together, even on tours 🤯.
We went and asked the police outside the entrance, they took us up to the administration offices (they didn't speak English, we don't speak Spanish) who in turn introduced us to William, the accountant for the stadium. He was so stoked that foreigners wanted to see his countries home ground he literally dropped everything and gave us a private behind the scenes tour showing us the Presidential box and changing rooms alongside letting me go on the pitch and stand in the centre circle 😁😁😁
Standing where the likes of Pele, Messi, Maradona etc have kicked games off was so so so sick and something that will stick with me for a long time. William, I thank you my man. He wouldn't even accept a tip, he was just buzzing to show us around 🇧🇴🇧🇴🇧🇴
