TV favourite @ladyjuliamorris
says her career has become fruitful since she turned 50. Morris stated: "I feel like I've being the same performer all along. Is there something in ladies in their extreme 40s that are allowed to have a voice and an opinion. I can't quite work out what it is because I honestly feel like I'm the same person." She is the host of Network Ten's new dating show, @blinddateau.
Morris is also returning to host @imacelebrityau
in January 2019 and she and @drchrisbrown
will anchor a new format, Sunday Night Takeaway that same year. As a side hustle, Morris also has touring commitments and corporate work. She stated: "I've always worked this hard, it just hasn't been as fruitful. Maybe I have turned down the volume on my incredibly full-on-ness. They might be where I have hit the sweet spot. That was just age and not needing as much attention as I would have when I was younger. Now I'm too tired to try and drum up some attention." Blind Date has been described as a reimagining of 80's dating show Perfect Match, where 1 male or female has to choose a date from 3 possible suitors. Morris stated: "There are many dating shows on air at the moment but I think one of the things that sets it apart is that it is not nasty, it is just a bit giggly and sweet. She too had a dating life before marrying Dan Thomas more than a decade ago. Morris stated: "There was a substantial amount of overnight romance. I don't remember people asking me out as such. I've always been quite a full-on girl and that doesn't tend to be the girl that chaos come up to and ask to spend more time with. They were more like, 'What are you doing at 11:30pm." 📺📰💖 #juliamorris #blinddate #blinddateau #imacelebrityau #drchrisbrown #sundaynighttakeaway #perfectmatch #marry #partner #romance #television #celebrity #entertainment #likeforlikes
