Today is 40 days straight of trail running🤙 In that time I’ve run for 286km, 51 hours and over 22,000m of ascending (and that again descending) which is up & down Mt Everest from sea level for 2.5 trips. I’m pretty chuffed with that 😊
Too much of one thing can be dangerous. Any thing whether positive or negative. No matter the emotion it gives you, if the need to check off performing it, prevents you from going without it a full day, it's too much.
I have this type of trait. I obsess and create aggressive and passive addictions. thid works to my advantage to create success out of goals at the expense of my health and well being. I don't put it down. I stay up a night. At the end of the task, my body is left spent and defeated.
At least this once was how I went about life. Ever since I been on this new journey of enlightenment recently, I've learned to notice excitement and judgement as A emotion instead of THE emotion. Quickly enjoying the journey and releasing myself back to the present when things get too rough. Its not so easy and I have a long way to go.
Weave this into your process. Your body is like a battery, over use and you will over heat. Manage your levels and remember the present mind is a happy mind. #staypresent #beingpresent #allowing

Mind content in yogic think is how we cognate, how we think, conceptualise, semanticise, value and believe, and also how we sensate and emote.
Yoga does not split heart, brain and body.
Mind is all of it.
We see in meditative practice the direct relationships between thinking, feeling, and body wellbeing.
We find the body as the past history of our mind, what we felt, what we thought, what we ate, what we did. And, so we build a future more consciously through intelligent somatic practice and systematic strategies of Meditation.

I often think about how far removed we are as humans from our natural state. 🍂
Talk of the spirit, working with guides, our intuitive connection, and many other natural practices such as shamanism have been long forgotten and repressed by our modern day culture.
But why should this integral work be forgotten?
Especially when it’s been around for tens of thousands of years.
In shamanism, there is a discovery of inner worlds inhabited by transpersonal forces - spirits of nature, elementals, our ancestors, animals, angelic guardians, and higher dimensional beings.
In connecting to spirit, shamans are able to heal and realign others to their power.
In remembering our natural states, I believe we can forge the same self-healing connection.

I’ve taken LSD and I mostly felt anxiety
and only a small sense of
deeper connection with those who were as fucked up as I was around me.
Changing my emotional states has been what has allowed me to connect with people the most.
If people hurt, they want you to hurt and feel their pain.
If people are happy, they want the same.
It can drain and take away or
benefit you both at the end of the day.
Can you tap into an experience which made you feel the same emotion of another person in order to comfort them? To attempt to see and feel from their perspective?
Magic isn’t esoteric, it’s our own biology and reality surprising us.
But that’s just my two cents.

One of the most common questions I get from students is, “how do I sit for meditation?” This is one of my favorite postures – the Burmese sitting position. It’s easiest if you sit up on a cushion and align your ankles with the center line of your body. If your knees don’t touch the floor, you can use blankets or blocks to support them.

A very warm throwback to a couple of bonfires I had with close friends a few years ago.
Take a look at both of these images.
The first has a smaller flame, bricked area. The image is blurry and dark. Thinking back I don’t remember the sound of our conversation in the background and I can’t hear the sounds of the fire.
The second image, however, has a larger flame and bricked area. The image is large and bright. Clear and focussed. I remember the crackling sound of the wood burning and the sounds of my friends in the background. I feel the warmth as though I was there again in the moment.
What does the difference in these two photos mean?
Well from the descriptions and how I represented the first image to myself I felt I had less energy and felt a bit meh.
Now the representation of the second image to myself made me feel energetic, warm and grateful for being able to hear and see people that mean a lot to me. It was a stronger image and that translated into how I feel visualising it.
You can do the very same, rather than using photos you’ve taken, use your mind to create the past images. Start them as they are. Then make them bigger, brighter, more focussed. Remember sounds and feelings that are loud and powerfully toned. .
Did your mood go up? Did your energy and excitement increase as you took the image and amplified it over all the senses.

Buckle in, I have a little story...
On Sunday it was my second day heading to the National Wedding Show and I was doing lots of travelling that day so was very keen to make sure the travel, and the day in general, ran like clockwork. I turned to my most favourite superpower...visualisation and visualised how the day was going to pan out. And guess what, things did run smoothly - to the extent that I got quite freaked out on my journey to the train station to head back to Birmingham...
It was getting scarily close to the time of my train but luckily saw the train was a little delayed. We thought I’d just about do it, only to see from a distance the road we needed was closed 🙄 and then in true Bruce Almighty style they took down the sign just as we approached the road. I then start preaching to my sister that the universe really has my back which is because of my visualisation. However..... the next road was shut and we had to faff about finding the best route. In the end I had to get out and walk with my 5 bags 😬 I was power walking like crazy and was very aware the chances were slim to none that I’d make it but I kept imagining getting on the train and texting my sister to say the universe really does have my back. I walked through the door of the station at 4.36 and that’s the time the train was due to leave. I continued to rush just in case and you guessed it, I leaped onto the train just as the doors were closing!! (did you see that coming 😂) Don’t ask me why or how but this stuff can work. Visualisation is one of my favourite things, on so many levels ✨Give it a go this morning. How do you want your day to play out? Focus on how you want to feel, that’s the key!
Do you face your fear? No matter how hard your life is... most of the time the biggest problem you have is your fear. It will increase doubt and insecurity. Besides that fear will prospone taking action. Do you have the guts to listen to heart, feel your energy and follow your dreams? Or do you keep on going believing everything you think? Buying a new pair of shoes for your kids, no big deal right?
For me it was huge ❤
There were times when everything "looked good" from an outside view. Nice house, couple of cars, full time careers, just truckin' along....but things aren't always what they seem.
When I'm in co-creation of desires for myself and my family, I get very specific (😘). Abundance to me isn't just about attracting lots of money, money is the shadow of value, so I focus on the value.
There was a time when my kids would have to wear shoes that were too small, and we just couldn't afford a new pair, and the bills were piling up and the paychecks were gone before they even came in.
It was a big vision of mine to take the 3 of them to buy good quality shoes without it feeling stressful, it was a vision of mine to go out to eat as a family and find cute little shops and diners to explore, to bask in nature and balance this beauty with my own successful business and clients ❤
Today we bought everyone new boots for the snow
Today we bought new winter jackets
Today we found cute bakeries and shops to eat at
We hiked up gorgeous trails and we lived in such presence and happiness ❤
And I topped of the day with a powerful call with an incredible woman to kick start her desires ❤🙌🙌 Some of my clients have BIG desires and some have the desires for simple treasures that most take for granted. Whatever the DESIRE, you deserve it and its waiting for you just as much as you're waiting for it 😍
