Musical of the day: The Little Mermaid. Because I couldn’t get the lyrics of “Beyond my wildest dreams” out of my head today as I checked in for my first day of the Disney College Program. It’s super magical here and I’m about to be a part of that magic! Little mermaid is another great Disney broadway show, a good translation from film to stage and the added music is awesome! One thing I can’t get over is the arms motions to indicate the swimming, it really bothers me for some reason but I know that’s just personal preference. I just don’t think it’s necessary. I’d like to be in this show someday, mainly because of the song I already mentioned and the most iconic I want song in the world “part of your world”. Those would have to be my favorites along with Ursula’s “I want the good times back”. #everydayalittlelistening #matchmaker #findmeasong #littlemermaid

On occasion I purposely take a look at online dating profiles to see what the experience is like versus matchmaking. Looking just now for about 5 minutes and I read "male 42 years old." Then a few sentences later "I'm really 24 but that's okay" No it's not ok for a lady unless you have no criteria whatsoever and are just seeking a warm body. I can see personalized matchmaking continues to be worlds apart from online dating. A 42 year old man is 18 years older than a 24 year old man. Quite different. If you don't read the fine print you will be quickly duped. Then you need to do background checks on your own. It all takes time and effort. Hope you have lots of time on your hands. Can see it's very frustrating. #notworthit #dating #onlinedating #matchmaker #matchmaking #42or24 #itsok #notokay #yourtime #youreffort #42 #24 #baitandswitch #becareful #beprudent #bewise #greenwichmatchmaker
Do you feel "invisible" to other singles- online or in real life?
My clients often share that they feel "invisible" to other singles and that's why they think they can't seem to attract a "good" relationship. Yet, in truth, these are radiant, brilliant and beautiful single women and handsome single men who are, in fact, getting noticed. But, because they believe they are invisible themselves, it leaves a deep sense of loneliness... because they believe nobody sees them, gets them, or really understands them. And, until the perspective is shifted, the feelings of being invisible and the loneliness remain.
Here's the truth... it's a matter of changing your perspective so you can begin noticing the high-quality partners around you and become aware that they notice you too. Just a tweak in perspective can totally shift how you experience dating.
I asked Valerie, a former client, if I could share her own story about how shifting her perspective transformed her life. She said... "The biggest result I have experienced while coaching with Laura is PERSPECTIVE... Openness to my heart's desires has opened growth in every area of my life." Now, the back story... “When I came to Laura, I suffered from low self confidence, lack of direction and was very overwhelmed. I wanted a trusted adviser to guide me through the process of rediscovering myself, but I didn’t know where and how to begin. From our very first conversation, Laura’s energy, charisma, wisdom, passion, and love for others was very clear. She brings strong guidance, gentle accountability and deep awareness to every session. Laura helped me find clarity on where I truly want to be and who I truly am, accountability and fast moving results. Today, I have a new perspective and openness to my heart’s true desires. I’ve experienced tremendous growth and leveling up that has opened up growth in every area of my life. I can feel my life taking off and it's from the truest place in my heart!” - Valerie
:: A Magnetic Woman ™ isn't born she is created:: The truth is that we are all born whole, perfect, worthy and even magnetic.
And as a woman you probably used to feel magnetic, alive, and vibrant, especially as a little girl.
Yet you quickly picked up on the messaging to shrink down, to conform, to be 'good', or you may have experienced something traumatic that made it feel unsafe to be the fullest version of yourself.
Being a Magnetic Woman is about coming back to yourself, to what you already know to be true.
It is about moving past all conditioning, pain, and wounding to allow yourself to be the fullest, most unapologetic version of yourself.
And while that sounds simple, it is one of the most challenging things for you as a woman to do.
Being a Magnetic Woman is about choosing yourself, your desires, and your pleasure - all day; everyday. It is about choosing yourself in the face of everything that you have been taught to do.
It is about deciding that your desire to live fully as yourself is larger than any part of you in fear and is more important than anyone else's triggers, judgment, or opinion.
It is about constantly doing the deep work to heal your wounding, embracing your emotions and choosing love.
Being a Magnetic Woman is about taking all of your pain, trauma, and wounding and turning it into gold. It is about seeing opportunity in every breakdown. It is about owning all faces of who you are as a woman - and knowing that is what makes you incredible.
It is about being unapologetic in all aspects of being a woman. Being unapologetic about the emotions you experience, about your sensuality and your sexuality.
It is about knowing that you will trigger others, and you will be judged and at the end of the day other people's opinions have nothing to do with you.
Being a Magnetic Woman is about knowing that the empowered feminine holds space for others to heal in her presence.
So you see, being magnetic is a choice, it is choosing the feminine in a world that still finds a truly empowered woman scary, wrong and too much. And in a world that does everything in its power to shut an empowered woman down. *continues in comments

What do you think of this?
Today, I am sharing a story of one of my favorite clients and how she overcame the pain of her divorce and found lasting love with the most remarkable man.
When I first met Katie, she wanted nothing more than to be free of the pain from her divorce. Her heart was shattered when her husband unexpected left her and basically disappeared. She was heart-broken and devastated.
The sense of betrayal weighed heavy on her heart. As a result, she couldn't foresee loving again or even letting her guard down enough to let anyone get close enough to hurt her again. She felt broken and deeply desired healing in this area of her life.
Katie was a smart, sexy, successful woman raising a three-year-old child alone. She felt a deep sense of rejection from her husband, which created a belief that she was unworthy of being loved. Everyday, Katie faced an enormous amount of shame, stigma, and responsibility for her marriage falling apart. In fact, she also blamed herself for missing the red flags. When I first met her, she swore she would never feel that helpless again, which for her meant she wouldn't even consider the idea of dating again. At least not at the beginning.
During our work together, Katie began the healing work necessary to move her past the pain of her divorce and into a place where she felt safe enough to open her heart up to loving again. One day during a coaching call, I asked her "what do you really wanted in life, now and in the future?". It was during this session that Katie discovered she had a desire for a lasting love and lifelong companionship. Her love story hadn't ended when her marriage did. In fact, it was only the beginning of her journey to find lasting love with a truly remarkable man.
