It’s the reason Adam fell. Its the reason Jesus died. It’s the reason you did... It’s the reason ...happened to you. (fill in the gaps)
It’s the solution to all man’s problems.
You can preach all the Jesus you like. You can quote all the scriptures you know in the Bible. You can cast out demons. You can heal the sick. You can fund the greatest evangelical program or fund the clothing of a million children. Without love, non of that counts! It’s NOTHING!!!! #matthew7 #1corinthians13 #love #solutions #renovateyourlife

This even applies to your job situation. The holidays is the Worst Time to lose a job, home, vehicle, or a loved one... If you "lost" one of these things and they still live on, this message is for you. They were removed because you wouldn't have otherwise removed yourself from a toxic situation. You're too loyal, loving, and valuable to allow yourself to be over extended in a situation that should've only been temporary.

// Happy Wednesday! In all honesty, the last few days have been rough. I’ve let a lot of negative things get to me lately and it has been draining both mentally and physically (hello, sleepless nights). Days like this usually make me want to stay home which just ends up making me feel worse. But today has been different. This negativity, frustration, and sadness I’m feeling has helped me to remember just how strong I am and how capable I am. As I’ve been going through difficulties, I’ve made it a priority to build a strong foundation for myself. When you build a strong foundation for yourself, negativity doesn’t have the same affect on your head and heart. It’s fitting that I found this passage today: “The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; Yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” 🖤
This is for all my fellow entrepreneurs out there hustling for crumbs, crashing thru your comfort zones, speaking into a saturated market trying to get above the noise, competing with a world full of prettier, slicker people, holding events nobody shows up at, posting gems nobody acknowledges, wondering if your gifts have any practical value in the world: Never doubt the value of your gifts. The people that can't see your value are not your people. That's not your market. Think BIGGER. There are 7.5 BILLION people on this planet. 1.5 billion of them speak English. If the people you are talking to can't see your value, move on. Trust this world is big enough for anyone & everyone to find their tribe. If you're striking out in little rooms, go to a bigger room. Don't stop until you find the people that see your gold. Disregard the ones who can't. #Matthew7

I put them on my shoulders because I want to carry them with me always, I will never not feel the weight of my duty to raise them into men for Christ. “If you then, evil (sinful by nature) as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give what is good and advantageous to those who keep on asking Him.” #Matthew7
“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?“
Matthew 7:3 NIV
Why do we so often judge people? Why do we so often tell people what they did wrong? Why do we so often point out the speck of sawdust in their eye while we’re having a whole plank in our eye? Why?
God made clear to me that I’m doing that, often.. day by day... and that I need to change something about it.I sometimes just tell people what they should do better instead of looking into the mirror and telling myself what to do better. Telling people to fix their eyes on Jesus while I fix my eyes on different things than him. I tell people that they’re sinning while I’ve just did the same sin. I realise that I need to be careful with what and how I try to help people. Being more loving and caring is really important, telling people that I’m not doing anything better than they are, telling them that I went through the same sitch.. helping them whilst giving a testimony is better than trying to help whilst just pointing out all the bad things they’ve done. It’s not helpful to make people feel even worst about themselves, point out the good things and keep the focus on things they did right. And then you can tell them what might be good to start changing. And you know what? I believe that the things we see in other people are often things that we carry within us too. God might be working on you in the moment you’re talking to the person in front of you about their problems. He’s always working on you. Give testimony.
Matthew 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.”
I was talking to my co-worker this afternoon . It had been raining 🌧 all day and I said “it would be nice to see a rainbow 🌈 “ minutes later I looked out the window and saw one. I stepped outside my office to take a picture and there were two rainbows 🌈 🌈 I sure did need that, since I’ve been having some rough days these past weeks, months, year!
I believe in the power of prayer 🙏🏻 I’ve been praying for something big, something special. I know He is working on it for me😊❤️I’m patiently waiting and feeling grateful for these little things. Have a blessed night 🌛

I just realized that I need to get my "ask" in gear where my prayer life is concerned. I am caught up in the moment of doing the last of my liver test that I haven't been going boldly before the Lord to ASK Him in prayer to really not pray for just only me, but for our leaders, my brother and sisters-in-Christ, and my enemies....
The Gospel of Jesus According to Matthew 7:21, 24-27
Jesus said to his disciples:
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,'
will enter the Kingdom of heaven,
but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. "Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them
will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.
The rain fell, the floods came,
and the winds blew and buffeted the house.
But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock.
And everyone who listens to these words of mine
but does not act on them
will be like a fool who built his house on sand.
The rain fell, the floods came,
and the winds blew and buffeted the house.
And it collapsed and was completely ruined." 7sorrowsrosaries.com

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 7:21, 24-27 'It is not anyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," who will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but the person who does the will of my Father in heaven. 'Therefore, everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on rock. Rain came down, floods rose, gales blew and hurled themselves against that house, and it did not fall: it was founded on rock. But everyone who listens to these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a stupid man who built his house on sand.

Matthew 7:1 .
. “Judge not, that you be not judged. .
People will either tell you that you shouldn’t judge at all or that you should judge but judge righteously. The fact is that we judge every single day that we live. We judge things to be right or wrong, dangerous situations from what is safe and other times we judge unfairly. We cannot get away from having some form of judgement but how we do it is the question.
Many times when we judge others it’s based on something that is deficient in ourselves. We talk about the way people parent their children because we doubt our parenting abilities. We see someone not in the best shape and instantly criticize. In either case it’s probably because of an area in which we lack. Do we do the best job parenting our own children? Are we in the best shape physically and are completely satisfied? Work on whatever areas you lack and watch and see how much less you’ll criticize others. You’ll be so caught up with self-improvement you’ll have no time for putting others down. .
To judge is to act as a judge or magistrate. To pronounce a ruling based on what we know of a case. God sees all and knows all, He knows everything we do and why. He is the sovereign judge because He is all knowing. His judgement is most assuredly righteous because He sees all. Human beings are incapable of this. Gods judgement isn’t based in emotion, narcissism, jealousy or anything that we might do in judging others. There are situations that we can rightly say yes or no to but with others, everything that we see is not all there is.
Whether you believe it’s okay to judge or not to judge know this;in the same way you judge you will be judged. If you judge harshly so shall you be judged. If you judge fair and impartially so shall you be. Be careful how you judge.

The scariest passage in the Bible? Just think for a moment that some people might hear Jesus say "Depart from me. I never knew you!" How gut-wrenching must that be to hear God-almighty say that to you on judgement day. Does it concern you that Jesus might say that to YOU!? Because if you are not 100% sure about your #salvation
, it should concern you. #Repent
before it's too late! #Matthew7
“And why worry about a speck in the eye of a brother when you have a board in your own?” #Matthew7
I sit here asking the Lord, “what do you have for me”, with a knowing He WILL bring me good gifts. Sometimes I feel like it’s an unfair exchange. He never stops giving!!! Then I think of how much I would love to have time with my daughter to pour out gifts and impart wisdom (she is a teenager now and I am not so cool anymore). Even if we neglect our moments with God, He has every good gift and intentionality towards us!! #nocondemnation
When you know what you want and demand it, the YOUniverse gonna test you n see how bad you want it. There’s gonna be resistance, people not gonna understand, they gonna say you changed up, and they gon make you feel wrong for doing what you know is right for yourcellf. But it’s not what happens to you, it’s how you react. You gain the strength from the temptation you resist. Stay strong and stay focused, no one can stop you GOD. I love mycellf 💚

Jesus uses the illustration of a person with a plank in his eye trying to remove a speck from another’s eye. Would you allow a doctor with a large obstacle in his eye to perform eye surgery on you? Why not? It’s because he couldn’t see correctly and therefore would harm you.
This often happens in the church. Sin blurs our ability to see. When there is unconfessed sin in our life, we will make molehills into mountains and mountains into mole hills.
We saw this when sin entered the world in Genesis 3. Adam essentially blamed God for his sin, “The woman YOU gave me, gave the fruit to me, and I did eat.” He blamed the woman and God—someone who is perfect and holy. Certainly, people commonly get angry at God and blame him for many things.
Another example of this is in the story of David and Nathan (2 Sam 12). David had committed adultery with Bathsheba and killed her husband. Nathan approaches David and tells him a story about a master who owned many sheep. This master had a servant who only owned one but loved this lamb dearly. The lamb would drink from his cup, eat his food, and sleep in his arms. However, one day the master had guests and instead of killing one of his many sheep, he killed his servant’s lamb for dinner. After hearing this, David said, “This man shall surely die!” And then Nathan replied, “You are the man!” David had unconfessed sin in his life and therefore was ready to murder a man who only killed a lamb, when he killed somebody’s husband. David couldn’t see properly because of his own sin and, therefore, misjudged the master’s sin. That happens often with us. It is the cause of much strife and discord in our lives. When we are not continually confessing and repenting of our sins, it spiritually blinds us. Therefore, if we try to correct others without first correcting ourselves, we will often misevaluate and hurt them. We’ll hurt them either by not handling the sin as severely as it should be handled or by being too severe.
(Ps. Gregory Brown)
