at 330lb & 340lb (🎥) @ RPE 8. Working singles (3) at 280lb moved niceee. Then hit some singles on deads at 390lb (🎥), which definitely had the nicest form of my entire prep! All lifts are progressing, heavier weight is feeling good, and I’m super excited to get this meet going. 13 days out!! Let’s gooooo!!! 🤙🏼📈 #GrandpaDanceMoves

And just like that the anxiety is gone. Finished up the last test of quite a tough past 10 days. Test was at 430 but I was itching to get some activity in so I decided to go in the morning. Finished my squats and called it a day. Was planning and finishing the workout after the test but was starving.

Missing my gym partner a little extra lately, to be honest training alone isn’t as fun!!! The best part about strength training is finding other people to train with to not only motivate you but to support you through those rough patches! 1️⃣ plate overhead bulgarian split squats: 10 reps each leg
2️⃣ banded bodyweight hip thrusts: 30 reps
3️⃣ banded kickbacks: 15 reps each leg
4️⃣ 5 second pause squats: 5x3
5️⃣ barbell hip thrusts: 5x12
6️⃣ DB sumo deads + RDL: 3x20
7️⃣ banded reverse hypers: 100 reps in as few sets as possible

Huge PR and confidence boost for me,the plan was to do 405 for a single but i'm never going to get stronger if i keep holding myself back so i went for a double and got it pretty smoothly,could of gone deeper but still happy with the result.
Meet Recap: I went 5/6, finishing with an 83/182# Snatch meet PR & a 102/224# Clean & Jerk lifetime PR, totaling 185, a 9kg improvement from my previous best. I took first in the 81kg class, hit the total I needed to qualify me for the AO Finals, and set some new state records! 💪🔥
I actually stopped training back a while ago because I didn’t wanna get too wide for the bench press. 😫😂
