The last few months were a series of ups and downs. When I'm struggling, it's because of stress and anxiety and it affects my sleep, my self esteem and often, leads me to periods or moments of self sabotage. I think at times this summer I shrugged this off because I was eating keto friendly foods while I fucked off. But I wasnt always eating or living in a way that was healthy for me or nourishing. I recently recommitted 100% to being kind to myself. I've been following through on my goals, rereading the books that helped me when I first started and focusing on making good choices, consistently, that make me feel good. And not only has my anxiety and depression improved, but I FEEL great! I like what I see in the mirror and my efforts are reflected on the scale too! This isn't something that happens without planning and work though. And I need to keep reminding myself that every single day. This month I will celebrate my TWO YEAR keto-versary. This, by itself, is a victory. I found a way of life that works for me, has improved my health, and given back my spark....and I have not, and will not, quit. A lot of life has happened in the last two years and the one constant has been my commitment to me. Whatever it is you want to achieve, however it is you want to achieve it, just do it. Dive in, all in, and make it happen. I promise, you're worth it. .
