Workout Wednesday: if you are tight for time and can only get a 30 minute workout I suggest full body compound movements. In this picture we are doing reverse lunges with a rotational toss. This move is great for literally your WHOLE body! Try 3 rounds of 15 reps each side. If you can’t find a partner or trainer to do these with you you can do them against a wall. Just make sure you keep your chest up, front knee doesn’t pass your toe, and your head stays in line with your spine when you rotate. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

🥗 80/20 Rule — EXPLAINED 🍕
Many dieters successfully lose weight with the 80/20 Rule.
This “rule” simply states that you should eat clean, healthy foods 80% of the time and can allow yourself to enjoy “fun foods” 20% of the time.
In short, plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins and nutrient dense carbohydrates should be the bulk of your nutrition, while having a cookie, some ice cream or glass of wine is not off limits.
But is the 80/20 Rule too good to be true?
Not at all!
In fact, quite the opposite.
And while some would argue that you can’t “have your cake and eat it too”, the 80/20 Rule would say otherwise, for for good reason.
Flexible dieting — the strategy that the 80/20 Rule promotes — is shown to lead to better longer term weight loss and diet success than rigid nutrition and meal plans.

HICKEN FAJITA KEBABS .
These Chicken Fajita Kebabs are a new summertime staple! We all love the sizzling skillet seared chicken fajitas, then there’s the simple sheet pan fajitas and the lazy slow cooker fajitas, but this version has that fire kissed goodness and it’s served as bite size pieces on a skewer so it’s much funner to eat!
2 tsp lime zest
3 Tbsp fresh lime juice
3 Tbsp orange juice (mandarin or navel)
3 Tbsp olive oil, plus more for brushing grill
1 Tbsp minced garlic (3 cloves)
1 tsp packed brown sugar
2 tsp chili powder (preferably 1 tsp regular 1 tsp ancho)
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp minced canned chipotle pepper, or more to taste (about 1 pepper)
3 Tbsp minced fresh cilantro, plus more for garnish
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 3/4 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced into 1 1/4-inch pieces
1 large yellow onion peeled and diced into 1-inch chunks
3 bell peppers (preferably 1 red, 1 yellow, 1 green), cored and diced into 1-inch pieces

This cold weather has me wanting to make all the warm foods, like pumpkin turkey chili 🍲
This slow cooker pumpkin turkey chili from @ambitiouskitchen
has become my new favourite chili recipe. It’s a unique take on chili with flavours of cinnamon, maple & chili powder so if you are someone who loves sweet and spicy I highly recommend it! I also baked up some gluten free cornbread to eat with this and it has been the perfect lunch to eat during this cold week ❄️

no process is easy especially when u trying 2get n shape, change your body, eat right and change habits that u are use 2 (bad habits). Putting your body through things that its not use 2. Feeling muscles hurt and ache that u have never felt. Getting tired 2 a point u never thought of because u not use 2it. Its tiring, and can b frustrating. Nothing happens over night, results come but they come with time and consistency. NO!!!!! u will not c results if u dnt work hard, push yourself and stay committed and consistent. Remember y u started and let that be your push, and motivation. When u start 2c the changes, your body transform, your wind getting stronger, u not getting tired as easily as u was. U get a extra feeling and more confidence bout yourself 😊😊😊 and when u c results it make u go harder... u have 2 trust the process no matter how many trainers u have, how many people motivate and push u nothing will matter if u dnt believe in yourself. U say u want to change your body get healthier etc then how if u just talking and not willing 2 put n the work? This is a friend I trained @jurneys_mom
gave her a meal plan and workowt plan and she stuck 2 it, but not just bcuz what I said, did and gave 2 her but because she wanted 2 change and kept going. It was hard she had some set backs ...but she stayed at it and u can c she got results. Thighs r more toned with muscle definition, neck area and chin is lifted, breast more of a shape smaller, butt has lifted, arms smaller and toned, and stomach flatter. JUST START. Small changes. If you drink 8 Dr. Peppers a day try to drink one less a day. If you eat 3 donuts for breakfast, try eating only 2 instead. Maybe for you it is eating a little less fries, a little more veggies, a little more protein, a little less fat, a little less carbs. .
Stop over complicating it💥🙅♀️. Drink more water. Start moving at least 5 minutes a day then go to 10 then 15 & so forth.☄

Pumpkin-Oat Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 1/4 cups coconut flour
1 1/2 cups quick oats
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1 cup coconut oil melted
1 1/3 cups packed light-brown sugar
2/3 cup coconut sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups canned pumpkin puree
1 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl whisk together flour, oats, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger for 30 seconds, set aside.
In the bowl of an electric stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, whip together oil, brown sugar and granulated sugar until creamy (occasionally stop and scrape down sides and bottom of bowl throughout entire mixing process). Blend in egg then blend in vanilla extract and pumpkin puree. With mixer set on low speed, slowly add in dry ingredients and mix until combined.
Mix in chocolate chips and pecans (if you want some chocolate to show through set some aside to press into tops before baking). Let batter rest 5 - 10 minutes (this just gives the oats some time to absorb the liquids so batter isn't so sticky and cookies don't spread so much). Scoop dough out 2 Tbsp at a time (I used a 1 1/2-inch cookie scoop, which I recommend using for evenly shaped cookies and fill it heaping), and drop onto Silpat or parchment paper lined baking sheets, spacing cookies 2-inches apart.
Bake in preheated oven 12 - 14 minutes. Allow to cool on baking sheet several minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
