GROCERY HAUL! ๐ŸŠ๐ŸŒฎ๐ŸŒถ $50.08 spent at @aldiusa this week and I feel damn good about that! We took dinner over to our friends house and plan to do another round later this week. I wasnโ€™t planning to bring home the whole canned good aisle - but the prices at my store were lower this week than usual so I grabbed some extra! . Hereโ€™s whatโ€™s on the menu! ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ . BREAKFAST ๐Ÿฏ Greek yogurt & raspberry parfaits for me. ๐Ÿณ Bacon & eggs for him. . LUNCH ๐ŸฅกEgg roll in a bowl ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ I didnโ€™t have time to thaw venison for this so I bought ground turkey. And the cabbage at my store was tiny so I tried out this pre-shredded coleslaw mix. . DINNER ๐Ÿ•Pizza w/ 2 ingredient dough. ๐ŸŒถ Mexican lasagna ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ this got a thumbs up from 4 grown-ups & was inspired by a @pinchofyum recipe! ๐Ÿฅ„Black bean soup topped w/ sour cream, cheese, cilantro & tortilla chips. ๐Ÿฅ˜ Curry w/ rice & veggies ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ using up a jar of pre-made sauce I found in the pantry. ๐Ÿฅฆ Salmon, sweet potato & sprouts. . No meat to boy this week because I found some forgotten chicken breast in the freezer + we have some 2017 venison to use up! . ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐ŸผHereโ€™s whatโ€™s on the menu. . Sometimes, it is a matter of figuring out what works for you. Back in January I made mention I was use a timer, and I still do. Now, I'm grouping meals together especially if I know it might be a hectic day. So, Iโ€™ll eat M1 + S1 together wait about 6 hours later eat M2 + S2 together, and continue it for the rest of the day. For me it has been working, and I plus it gives your body a break from processing food every 2-3 hrs. Whatโ€™s on the menu? Lately I've been portioning out my mealpreps, vacuum sealing and freezing them. The result is tastier, fresher and doing a big prep and freezing gives more variety. Lunch is a salad with egg, goat cheese, avocado and pumpkin seeds, quinoa with lentils and veggies or sweet potato, chicken and broccoli. Snack is fruit and gingerbread. Dinner is sweet potato with salmon and broccoli, spaghetti with veggies and chicken or quinoa with lentils and veggies.
