Who doesn’t love fresh homemade salsa? One of my farmers market finds this weekend was a bag of fresh salsa ingredients. 🙌 . I like to prep this along with my regular meal prepped lunches and add it as a topping to basically everything in sight. 🤷‍♀️ . Transform boring, bland meals with easy, flavorful additions. Meal prep of the day, took me only 15 minutes to make! - Sautéed beef in a sauce made of soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, garlic, and sesame oil - Steamed broccoli - Cauliflower rice cooked on the stove with some olive oil *** if you do not like salt in your food or need to cut it down, replace it with lemon or lime. It’s a healthy replacement for some added flavor 👌

Sometimes, it is a matter of figuring out what works for you. Back in January I made mention I was use a timer, and I still do. Now, I'm grouping meals together especially if I know it might be a hectic day. So, I’ll eat M1 + S1 together wait about 6 hours later eat M2 + S2 together, and continue it for the rest of the day. For me it has been working, and I plus it gives your body a break from processing food every 2-3 hrs. What’s on the menu? Traveling over the weekend turned my usual #mealprepsunday into my very first {and quite successful} #mealprepmonday ! . I had such an amazing time visiting my parents in Florida this past weekend... and leaving them was bittersweet! . On one hand, I was sad to be leaving my family.. but I was SO excited to get all of these meals cooked! It definitely gave me something to look forward to 🙈 . What did I prep !? . Lately I've been portioning out my mealpreps, vacuum sealing and freezing them. The result is tastier, fresher and doing a big prep and freezing gives more variety. The only downside I see is the plastic packaging. But I'm looking into recyclable or reusable options. Lunch is a salad with egg, goat cheese, avocado and pumpkin seeds, quinoa with lentils and veggies or sweet potato, chicken and broccoli. Snack is fruit and gingerbread. Dinner is sweet potato with salmon and broccoli, spaghetti with veggies and chicken or quinoa with lentils and veggies. Yogurt as snacks. . 💫T&TR- Bran flake cereal (not pictured) or egg white muffins with peppers. Thai inspired bison bowls, soy glazed turkey burger w/broccoli and brown rice. Apple crisps and bananas as snacks. . 🔴FAQ: I store all the egg muffins in one container, but I eat two as a serving size! Bison bowls were made with a sauce of equal parts honey, fish sauce, sriracha, lime juice and rice vinegar (about 1 tablespoon each). . 🙋🏼‍♀️What recipe would you like to see posted? Comment below⬇️.
