5 minutes chocolate cake 🍰
In a bowl mix
1 mashed banana
2 egg whites
2 heaped tablespoons of cacao
Either stevia or pure maple syrup for the sweetener
Cook in either the microwave for 2.5 minutes or the oven for 15- 20 minutes
Take out, top with alllllll the yummy toppings and enjoy 😊

Big Sunday night dinner with my little family before my second work trip out to Seattle this week. .
When I was a kid my family always did a big Sunday night meal to kick off the week... I like that tradition and I think we’ll carry it on. .
Anyone else have family traditions they had as a kid that they carry on as an adult?
HEALTHY CHOCOLATE BANANA SMOOTHIE 😍
It tastes great and is nutrient dense!
1 frozen banana
I zucchini (steamed and cooled)
1/2 small avocado
1 heaped tablespoon cacao powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of Himalayan salt
2 egg yolks (save the whites for baking or scrambled eggs )
1 tablespoon of flaxseeds
3 tablespoons of rolled oats
Ice and water (I used roughly 1 cup of filtered water, you can change the amount depending on your desired smoothie thickness)
You probably read that thinking "egg yolks ??" Organic pasture fed egg yolks are a great addition to a smoothie, they are a great source of protein and nutrients. Make sure you don't include egg whites because they must be eaten cooked!
Eating raw egg whites can interfere with protein digestion and absorption of b vitamins !

I was going through Woolworths the other day and came across the Bega nut spread range. I was like “awesome, a cashew and almond product 🙌🏻” BUT THEN I looked at the ingredients. -
When I had a closer looked I realised it was only 25% nuts, with the rest of the product made up of vegetable oil, sugar, maltodextrin and emulsifiers 🤢 -
It is so important to read your labels closely and ALWAYS check the ingredients !! When it comes to nut spreads/butters, aim for one that has only 1 ingredient.... NUTS (and maybe a little touch of salt)

Collagen is the most abundant protein in our body and is essential for the health of any connective tissue. I needed a quick meal, and craving sushi. I ended up at Sushi & Bento.
A very tiny space, but the service is very fast. A torch sushi platter for $10. You cant go wrong with that, and the fish is worth the 💲 you're paying for.
I would definitely go back here for the usual grab and go or a quick sushi meal.

Canola oil is in everything these days, especially jarred olives! The issue with canola oil is that is causes inflammation, this is why you need to avoid is at all costs. Always check your ingredients lists! I searched through majority of the olives in Woolworths and the macro organic ones were the best of the lot, they were also the cheapest !!!
