Face of #RoyaltysDelight
- David the inspiration and Esther the founder.
In my late teens, I chose to start eating and living right. In 2003 myself and some friends checked our weights and did a playful forecast of weight in the next 10 years, and other goals and aspirations. I weighed 60kg and said I'll still weigh 60kg come 2013. Then I had a really sweet tooth and ate anything and everything at anytime. In my subconscious I began working on myself.
Fast forward to 2013, ten years later, I weighed 60kg. Through these years I swayed between 57kg and 61kg depending on my activities. I had my first degree in Microbiology, Basic training in children and teenagers care, Youth Service and was working at a medical centre.
Come over to 2018, second degree, marriage and a cute boy after, I currently weigh 64kg. I have a maximum limit of 68±2kg so it'll be built gradually. Wonder how I achieve this, 👉 Healthy meals and lifestyle. Don't get me wrong, I sometimes indulge but I control it. Also I exercise, although not your regular kind. The best I do is brisk walking for about 30 minutes daily. Aside this I find fun ways to stretch out while working and also seize any opportunity to dance out some calories.
5 years at the medical centre brought me across people from all over Nigeria. I've helped out on healthy ways to eat and live as individuals, for their children and the family.
When David was to start solids I began making his meals and he loved them all. His dad insisted we tried some cereal brands but my boy won't have any of it all. He stuck with his mama's homemade natural healthy and delicious meals. I shared our meals with other children and they fell in love with it. Wow... I'm so glad when I see children eat healthy, adults too (it's heartbreaking seeing people drug-dependent all their lives due to an illness).
Soon we'll bring you a reenactment of what our foods are like - Delish, yummy, tasty. . . . .
