It's so important for all of us to educate in one way or another. Whether we teach our craft or become enablers to learning and growth - both are important. We're lucky enough to have a facility that not only educates and gives inspiration but also provides a collaborative dynamic to learning. Thank you to @sedabuilding_dandenong

Well planned laundry with hanging space for when the ironing is done. Client loved the black hexagon mosaic, and who doesn’t like s great shoe cupboard for all those sneakers and footy boots.
Timber sash window fully repaired and painted.

It was late in September 2017 and a good friend from New Zealand was in Melbourne for the night so I planned to drive in from the Mornington Peninsula and take him out for a nice meal at South Bank.
I checked the weather forecast a few days prior and noticed that there was a good chance of some magic light early the following morning. I decided on a shoot location looking across the Yarra River from South Bank, booked a room at the nearby Quay West Hotel and packed the camera gear into the car.
I made my way into Melbourne on the Friday afternoon then met my friend and enjoyed a nice meal out on the town. It wasn't a big night and we ended up going our seperate ways by around 11pm. Despite getting to bed at a civilised time, when my alarm went off at 4:30am I hit snooze and went straight back to sleep. 10 minutes later the alarm went off again and I finally managed to drag myself out of bed, throw some clothes on and grab my camera gear.
As soon as I left the hotel foyer, I looked up and could see some beautiful light shining through the clouds in the distance. Thankfully the edge of the Yarra was only a few minutes walk from my hotel. Almost as soon as I had setup my gear the buildlngs were bathed in beatiful golden light. It only lasted a matter of seconds before the sun was blocked by a cloud and the show was over.
A couple more minutes in bed and I would have completely missed this stunning light show!
