7 years ago, in New York, I was told a story from a CEO whose family, many generations past, came from the founder of psychoanalysis and of a distant cousin who was related to him and also the family who produced Schindler's List along with a cofounder who possessed strong skills in bringing out the best in people. We spoke a lot and he asked how he could compensate me as my older brother for the knowledge that I provided on various cocktail napkins, I do not remember what I told him nor what he offered me but I do know that shortly after, I went through so many setbacks that I gave up on life and actively started to die. When he reached out, I saw a final opportunity to repay him for his kindness many years ago and so joined his company and met his/my family who slowly and steadily; brought me back from the brink of death and gave me back my passion for SEO, ability to read, healed me of my mistrust of people (still working on it) and taught me social rituals and how better to get along with parents and brother (pictured). Today, I am grateful for all that and more. #bold #gratitude #life #roses #thorns #family #brothers #sisters #olderbrother #oldersisters #mentors #dogs
