In the mist of the Hellboy reboot I felt like reading some of his comics, so here’s my review of “House of the Living Dead and Other Stories”.
Who doesn’t love some classic Hellboy and here there are 4 sweet short stories.
-The Fist one House of the Living Dead is a nice sequel to Hellboy in Mexico, Richard Corben art is always a delight… but the story is forgettable… it’s nice and all but meh…
-Midnight Circus is a wonderful kid Hellboy story the art of Duncan Fegredo is good but the color changes from Hellboy’s adventure to the Professor searching for him is AMAZING, the story is nice… but the art is all.
-This book also brings some Abe Sapiens, the first one is Abe in Mexico searching for some missing agents and fighting vampires… it’s pretty forgettable. The last stories is to tied to the BPRD and Abe continuity that a casual Hellboy fan can’t truly enjoy, and it sad because @jeferreyra
art is AMAZING and fits beautifully to the world.
At the end of the day this book has fantastic art but wonky stories.
