💗Remember, being mindful is available to you at all times; consider this: your mind is always with you, you just need to choose to become aware – to be intentional.⠀
💗Create a mental list of things in your life for which you are grateful – even better, write them down.⠀
💗If you find yourself feeling anxious or impatient, focus on your breathing. Stuck in traffic? Waiting in line? Rather than getting upset, look at this as a perfect opportunity to become mindful, focus on your deep inhale and exhale. You will immediately feel calmer and less stressed.⠀
💗Commit to taking 15 minutes each day to sit and be still. Set a timer, sit comfortably and simply observe your thoughts as they pass through your mind. Become aware of your thoughts and without any judgement, allow them to float, like a cloud out of your mind, coming back to your inhale and exhale. - @nourish_yoga

I am a recovering phone addict and so I force myself on frequent Digital Detoxes to keep my addiction under control. You see I need my phone, social media and the online world for my business BUT I know they are all harmful to me, my mental health and my relationship with Ben and our girls.⠀
I recently went on a Digital Detox which was supposed to be for a week but lasted 3 weeks. And something incredible happened in the third week. So I blogged about it.⠀

It's been an interesting last few days. Had my max rep sesh on the 21st April which, I have to admit, left me feeling a bit meh about all my lifts. Yep, I PRd 3 times (107.5kg squat and a 130 and 135kg dead) but I went sh#t
in my bench...again and I wasn't happy with my execution of my squat and deadlift....they weren't pretty. Anyway, time to move on and have a break between programs.
Started kickboxing again, so much fun and a bit of time in my gym playing with stuff I might not ordinarily get a chance to. .

“Yes, others can cause us grief and pain. Yes, it can also be intentional. Yes, external forces can be the culprit for impacting our moods and lives negativity. And yes, standing up for ourselves (and therefore each other), requires us to use our voices and hearts to advocate against injustices. I have observed those that don’t have the ability or awareness to primarily understand themselves and the issue/s that surround them before jumping ignorantly and defensively into any external fear based quarrel. And here’s my human suggestion. Try not to react, create or fuel problematic issues blindly. Learn to pause. To be objective. Learn to understand the intentions of others. What they say, what they do & why they may do it. Explore perspectives. Grasp them about yourself and about others. I have learnt that nothing is ever too personal if you look deep enough - even when it appears to be. Cultivate empathy and understanding for different points of view and express your genuine desire to the person/s or external force involved about yours. Positive communication is the key. And if you find that you have done everything in your power; holding the intention of peace in mind to mend what needs healing, if you find your intentions honourable after exploring them, if you find your surrounds are just not meeting your level of open awareness, if you find your immediate environment is uncooperative & throwing you out of balance, then what you do here, is YOUR choice. Choose you. Turn the page. The world is never to blame. As the idiom goes, “You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink.” So you better lead yourself to water, dehydration can be a bitch. To be honest i haven’t been super motivated and fired up to train that I’m thinking about the gym before i go to bed or dreaming about what i wish my physique to look like. I’ve just been going through the motion because it’s part of my lifestyle and frankly I️ can’t remain sane without some sort of physical activity. But I have for what seems like forever been intrigued in other things, and finally getting around to explore these things is fulfilling to say the least. Like contemplating philosophy, meditating and finding peace/equilibrium amongst the chaos of daily living, frequent inner reflection to challenge my beliefs and battle with my ego, reading to stimulate my mind intellectually, and you get my drift. I guess you can say I’m soul searching, without ever wishing to find what I’m searching for, as that would only culminate my growth as a human being ✨

's new podcast. It's some serious soul food, let me tell ya. I know I'll be relistening to them all more than once. So much gold. And the music! 🙌🏻
What made me perk up with ep 3, was when she mentioned making holistic decisions.
When making any decisions, consider its impact on your mind, heart, body and soul..
I haven't been able to get they notion out of my head is struck me so.
I think about everything else holistically, but never really my decision making.

Enduring a great deal of stress, walking pneumonia, and a rib being misplaced - 3 times - from coughing so violently, brings to mind one word: PERSPECTIVE.
The lens through which you look at life determines life. It affects so many things. Your health - physical and mental. Your resilience. Your impact on other people. -
I choose to be grateful for what I CAN do, keeping the long term perspective of what I WILL do. In time. I choose to operate within high, positive energy rather than negative energy. Life is so much more gratifying that way.
Intention helps one to redefine their vision: Today was my ladies day, I had 3 female clients, three completely different styles of Therapeutic Sessions, 2 out of 3 was energy driven, and 1 in which was a Lomi Lomi. I must say Sacred Lomi is my favorite modality, because of all of the intentionality surrounding this type of work. Before my clients get on the table I encourage them to set an intention on why they want this treatment and what they want to get out of their session. Once that’s done they choose their card, read it to their self or aloud, and then place it by the candle to ignite their inner desire. It’s a powerful tool to help client to shift out of stagnation and flow into creation....

There is more worthy things to do then to waste time snoozing over and over again and still wakes up feeling tired and frustrated.
Oh! I forgot, maybe because you have not found a purpose, a goal, a "MUST ACHIEVE NO MATTER WHAT", if you are in the Mid 20s, or worst, 30s, and u are facing this daily, ITS TIME TO STOP WHAT EVER YOU ARE DOING AND START THINKING ABOUT YOUR PURPOSE!
My body mind and soul has been enriched by the incredible opportunity I changed upon 9 years back. From then on, I have given all guidance I needed and all chances to fail and pick up again. I just kept getting a little bit better everyday, focus to do alittle more everyday.

Do you know on an average human brain have 50,000 to 70,000 thoughts per day, and 90% of those thoughts are directly linked from whatever actions you took on the previous day. This means that if you did something positive, or something that make you feel happy, or something that make you feel relaxed on the previous day, then the following day, you will be feeling almost same because your brain will be filled with all good thoughts.
So, if you are trying to achieve something in your life whether it's an improved health or your dream career, then you have to make sure that you fill your brain with happy thoughts by doing things that make you feel happy, relaxed, and positive.
Thus, if you didn't do anything exciting and positive yesterday, then do it now so your tomorrow will be as beautiful and happy as today.
