How to resist to french fries??? 😌😌 If we control the way we eat than we don't have to resist it, because we won't eat that much until we'll feel bad. So.... How many fries do you put in your mouth?? Start eating fries one by one and chew them slowly, enjoy the taste. Don't rush and pay attention to what you're eating. Stop blaming yourself for eating unhealthy food again. There is nothing bad with that. Instead try to control the way you eat that specific food. What will change?? We live in a world full of amazing foods and flavours…but sometimes we lose touch with the pleasure and satisfaction that can come from eating. In the pursuit of ‘health’ we might for example choose a less satisfying food option for lunch…but this means we often continue searching for that satisfying feeling later even when we aren’t hungry . When was the last time you asked yourself…what do I REALLY want to eat right now? What sort of flavour do I want…something sweet, salty, fruity, buttery, bitter or spicy? Perhaps it is a particular texture that will hit the spot…something crunchy or chewy, smooth or crumbly? What temperature do I want the food to be…warm and cozy or cool and refreshing? What about how the food looks…how many colours do I want to see, what about the different shapes and sizes of the food? When you eat, can you slow down and really pay attention to each of your 5 senses? How does your food look, what do you see? How does it smell, what does it feel like? How does it sound as you take a bite and how does it really taste? Does the taste change over time...do new flavours emerge or fade? . . Does eating in this way bring you more or less satisfaction? Feeling satisfied after eating is different to feeling full. I remember how scared I was to stop tracking my food. . I had been doing it for most of my adult life. I used my fitness pal, weighed everything I ate on a scale, and trusted tracking more than my own hunger signals. . I was CONVINCED the second I stopped, I would put on loads of fat, because in the past that's always what would happen. . When I became Fat Adapted that all changed. I learned what foods to eat that wouldn't trigger over eating. I also learned how what I was eating before was priming my body to store fat even though I was "still in my calorie limit". It's SO much more than calories and macros! . I was finally able to listen and understand when I was and wasn't hungry. I was able to trust my hunger ques and know that when I felt like eating, it was actually because I needed food! This gave me so much peace,  because I knew I could eat what I needed without gaining weight. . If you're craving more freedom with your food, but you're scared of gaining weight, don't be. You have NOTHING to fear. Sometimes things don't work out the way you expected or intended. Yesterday, I went out for a run, but after only about 10 steps (not exaggerating) my legs felt like lead weights and hurt SO bad. I stopped and stood there wondering if I should push through it, but ultimately decided I should listen to what my body was telling me and focus on recovery instead. . Yesterday, that meant a massage, wandering around the city, and trying my hand at baking! I had a few old bananas laying around and was inspired by @thewellful and @jaim_eats to bake some Banana Oat Muffins. . Mindfulness and treating yourself well applies not just to feeding your body what it needs or wants, but also how you treat it physically - whether it be with movement... Or lack thereof. 😝

A positive relationship with food is an essential component to eating. While we know nutrition is the relationship of nutrients and their interactions within the body and nutritional planning serves as a facilitator to outcomes be it performance or body composition, it’s important to maintain the many other dynamics that food plays in a human’s life. . There’s a reason why dopamine is released with expectation of food and consumption of food; dopamine is responsible for our several natural drives - lose that then what’s the point? . One of the things I love about being a RD is not only helping people achieve goals through nutrition programming but that’s simply one aspect - the other side of that coin is meal planning in order that your diet works for you instead of you working for a diet. . . Butternut squash & chickpea tagine cooked with red onion, garlic, harissa, cinnamon, bay leaves, ground cumin & coriander, tamarind, dates, raisins, celery, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt & black peppercorns garnish with chilli flakes & fresh chop parsley. I steamed the squash chunks & the chickpeas were pre cook which reduced the cooking time. Chop onion chunks, celery & slightly crash garlic sautéed in oil in a large cooking pot until lightly brown then added all the spices including dates & raisins, I gave a good stir then added chickpeas & water, cooked on a low heat covered with a lid for about 20 minutes & then addeded the butternut squash, an another good stir, tasted the salt then seasoned to my taste, covered again & cook for further 10 minutes. So delicious & autumnal dish. It’s also chock-full of antioxidants, and I love substituting the cinnamon with Cinnamon Bark Vitality oil to boost the flavor and the immune support! . 1 cup quinoa 2 cups almond or coconut milk 1 T xylitol 1/4 tsp vanilla 2 drops Cinnamon Bark Vitality {adjust to personal taste} 1 cup blueberries 2 T hemp seeds . Cook quinoa + almond milk over low heat for 10 minutes. Add xylitol + vanilla + cinnamon bark and cook 5-6 more minutes, until soft. Stir in blueberries and hemp seeds. Making a batch of my HIGH PROTEIN BREAKFAST MUFFINS so mornings are a teeeensy bit easier this week! 🙌🏼 Plus, they’re perfect on the go snacks too! . The full recipe is on my blog (CitNutritionally.com), but over the past few months I’ve been making this quick + even easier version you’re going to want to save for later... 👩🏻‍🍳 Mix together 8 egg whites + 4 whole eggs, 1/4 cup each chia seeds + ground flaxseed, a handful of rolled oats, 1 mashed banana, a teaspoon of pure vanilla extract and a hefty dose of cinnamon. I usually add some frozen berries too! Pour into muffin tins then bake at 375F for 20ish minutes, until cooked through... ENJOY! 😍

Heute Morgen dachte ich erst, ich habe nichts da. Aber von den Resten habe ich noch was gezaubert. 👉 Buchweizen kochen, entweder mit Milch oder mit Wasser (wie in meinem Fall). 2 Pflaumen vierteln und in Ghee oder Kokosöl mit Gewürzen wie Zimt und Kardamon kurz in einem Topf erwärmen und andünsten. Dazu etwas Mandelmus und Hanfsamen.
