I felt like crap tonight.
The house was a disaster, both kids wanted attention, and I felt sick and just wanted to go to sleep. When they were finally in bed, I was ready to crash and do some Facebook browsing. I even texted my husband and apologized for the messy house he was about to come home to.
But then something clicked. A feeling, almost a whisper, said, 'You don't have to feel this way.' I almost ignored it. I got my snack and just about went to bed. But then that whisper came again. 'This is in your power.' I looked around at my messy house. 'I guess I can just clear the table,' I thought. But when that was done, I wanted to do more. 'I can just pick up the toys,' 'Just declutter the floor,' 'Just switch out the laundry.' I ended up not only tidying the house, but also finishing up a project I'd started for Sam over a week ago. And I felt amazing.
See, faith isn't always huge miracles. More often than not, it's doing *just a little*, when you honestly would rather not.
It's making that tiny step, believing that eventually, you'll be glad you did.
I started tonight too beat, tired and discouraged to even walk outside to look at the moon. But just a teeny step at a time brought me back to earth, back to God and back to myself enough that I'm finishing the day in the chilly air, feeling alive, starting up at the sky and realizing just how aware God is of all the little tiny everyday battles we fight.
He's on our side. He whispers in our ears sometimes, reminding us that those tiny steps of faith are in our power.
So take them! Even if it's something as tiny as switching out the laundry, do it. Take that little leap of faith. They add up. They snowball. The more of them you take, the happier you'll be at the end of the day, and the closer you'll be to the dreams you've been hiding from.

Oh, not blaming others doesn't mean you then blame yourself. Nay. It just means you're not in denial of everything that has happened or is happening around you but you forge ahead and make it. Not blaming others gives you the opportunity to seek for solution, which is the most important thing to do in order to move ahead.
Also, you need to stop giving excuses. If you keep giving excuses for your laziness, procrastination, mistakes, #bodyweight
, you will never be responsible and that means #success
will be far from you.

CHANGE | TRANSFORMATION | SUCCESS are journeys that mean different things to different people. Some of the major problems I see why people fail to achieve SUSTAINABLE CHANGE & TRUE TRANSFORMATION are;
⚠️ We don't recognise that we all operate from unique Mindset. Even two people who were raised in the same house sharing identical genes, do not share the same Mindset. What works for one, doesn't necessarily work for another.
⚠️ Living & operating from some myths: an example is that it takes 21 days to install a habit or to make a change! Yes that might work if you are trying to acquire the habit of drinking water 1st thing in the morning. There are many types of habits that require different strategies, tools & time employed to acquire! Changing habits can take between 20 to 254 days depending on the type of habit & the time it requires to happen on Neural-Pathway level. Equally important is to find your unique tools & strategies to make this happen.
⚠️ Not Knowing what we truly truly want: this is the result of a Conditioned-Self, Habituated Mind and constant bombardment from the outside world of do this, do that, should, shouldn't, must, mustn't... this requires a Self-discovery journey which is the first step in Personal Mastery Coaching.
⚠️ Fear of the Unknown: There is no such thing as an absolute unknown, unless you want to swim in space! What's there, is a Conditioned, Habituated Mind that is designed to protect you & it does that by keeping you within the realm of what is familiar to it.
⚠️ Lack of Curiosity, Patience & Discovery of what works best for our unique-self! We want to see results fast, so we adopt strategies, tools, means and ways that will not necessarily get us what we want. We live in a fast moving world where almost everything can be delivered to our door step at the touch of a screen! We want magic! Even when you want to play with magic, you have to learn it's principles & techniques! The more you rush things, the slower you will go! .

Whether you tell yourself these things out loud or subconsciously, it's easy to believe that some external solution is going to be the answer to all your problems…
...But unfortunately, that’s not the way it works.
If you can’t find a way to be happy right now, despite less-than-ideal circumstances, then chances are things won’t be a whole lot different at your new destination.
Circumstances are almost never “ideal”, life always finds a way of throwing curve balls at ya, and your mind will always find the next problem to focus on.

Happiness is an INSIDE game, y’all. It's OK to have external goals, but if you ignore the stuff that's in your 🧠 & ❤️, you'll never truly get where you want to go.

🌸 Work towards forgiving yourself & the people who have hurt you. Forgiveness = freedom.

🌸 Pet a puppy 🐶

“Do I need to be at a certain weight before I can start eating intuitively?” 🤔
I see so many women who are afraid to “ditch the diet” and listen to their body because they feel like it’s only okay to do that once you’re a certain size (that we’ve been told is acceptable either by beauty standards or so-called “health standards”).
They feel like they need to keep dieting until they get to that societally acceptable weight and THEN they can start listening to their bodies.
This is 100% incorrect. 🚫
The diet is THE thing that is keeping you unhealthy and unhappy and in a constant battle with your weight. ⠀
The diet is THE thing that has caused this seemingly never-ending struggle and will continue to if you don’t break that cycle. 💯
Trying to continue with dieting when you’ve probably been doing it for YEARS is the definition of insanity (AKA trying something over and over again and hoping for a different result). 🤦🏻♀️
It’s not YOU. It’s not that you’re not disciplined enough or need a different diet or that it was just a fluke and maybe this time it’ll work out. 😒
It won’t work. Diets don’t work. Restriction doesn’t work. At least for 95% of people.
So LET IT GO.
Ditching the diet gives you the ability to make your health, happiness 😊, confidence, stress, and peace of mind more important than your weight. AS THEY SHOULD BE.
I know it can be scary to do because so many people feel like they NEED to lose weight and have food rules in order to be healthy because you’ve been conditioned to think so (aka don’t eat sugar, carbs are bad for you, you should be eating “clean”), but I urge you to try.
Try something new, even if it feels scary because what you’re doing now isn’t working and it won’t work. You have absolutely nothing to lose, but by not breaking that cycle you could continue to lose precious time doing the same thing has failed you in the past. ❤️

Making time for the things you love can be challenging when we’re spread so thin with other commitments. Why is it that we volunteer and agree to do things when we know it doesn’t align with our goals? Sometimes putting others needs before our own can leave us feeling frustrated, stressed or unappreciated. In my mission to live more intentionally I’ve started really thinking about what I volunteer or commit to to ensure I’m 1. Not spreading myself too thin 2. That it aligns with my goals 3. That it’s not taking away from time with my family. This has been so helpful for me over the past year and I hope to continue making time for the things and people that bring me joy. .
I encourage you to think about your own priorities/goals and evaluate if your commitments are bringing joy to your life or if you’re doing them because you ‘have to’ 🤔 .

I feel the blood moon calling me to step into full ownership of my medicine. To believe in my worth and value anchored in enough-ness as I am now. Releasing all the bullshit stories and conditioning that have played a part in my own self sabotaging behaviors. Having consistency and dedication to myself become the new “norms” which will require me to be fully accountable for my dreams and desires. A ho! And so it is!
What is calling you to step in more fully through your blood, tears and laughter?
I can imagine the last two weeks have been full off depression, anxiety, confusion, uncertainty, past experiences coming to light, and many more negative experiences. I know it’s hard to believe that experiencing this was for a greater good. In order to move forward and up-level in our life, we must first release the pain, emotions, addictions, habits, behaviors and relationships that no longer serve us and may hold us back. The time has come for a new beginning. Release what no longer serves you. Do not fight what you are feeling right now. I know it is SO incredibly hard to believe this when you are in the moment. But the best thing you can do is allow this darkness to be there. Accept it. Don't distract it. Because then, you can finally move on to the next stage of your life. You are ready. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Yesterday is used for reference. Tomorrow is used for dreams. No matter your circumstances right now, anything can happen in just one day. You ARE capable. You ARE deserving. I believe in YOU!

Looking a little windblown from my January walk today. But walking every day—rain, shine or snow— helps keep me in alignment.
I’ve made being in alignment and purposely making decisions that feel good and fun to me a priority.
Staying in alignment helps you to feel happier and at peace, but it also has the lovely side effect of bringing you what want.
And manifesting stuff you want is cool.
But being happy most of the time is even cooler.
Staying in alignment is about going with your instincts or intuition when making decisions.
The trick is to be aware of what your intuition is telling you rather than your primitive (let’s stay in, eat two dozen donuts and gain fifty more pounds—that way you’ll be safe) mind.
Donuts taste awesome, but the results of eating like that on a regular basis is not gonna be good. Just sayin’. Your true intuition will lead you to make decisions that will be in your long term best interests, while your mind... Well, your mind is all about short term comfort and instant gratification.
Which ain’t what you want if you’re trying to grow and develop as a person.

Where do you feel pain in your body?⠀
Last night I took a beautiful client through a simple breathing exercise, bringing awareness to our bodies and where we feel pain.⠀
Breathing into it we take a few minutes to listen to what that pain means, what feelings it brings up, what story is attached to that pain and how it may have become a part of her identity.⠀
This transformative exercise is one tool we can use to begin to release stagnant or blocked energy from our body so we can feel more free... and move with more lightness and fluidity. Physically, mentally and emotionally.⠀
You see... your outside world is the reflection of your inside world. So you can simply consider the following: how is your relationship with your body a mirror of your relationship with life?⠀
I feel so blessed to have been given this tool and many more to help transform the lives of others.... my journey is just heating up and I’m so excited to help others really connect deep into their own souls so they can live their life in a way they never thought possible! ❣️

Just show up! The universe will meet you where you want to go. Lately I’ve been hiding, but not intentionally. I’ve been locking in what I am declaring for 2019. So many good things are coming my way that I have been working toward them I forgot to come up for air and breathe the goodness of staying connected. But now I’m here showing up. Not caring about missing a day or two. Just arriving and doing what feels right and what I’m called to do. If this is speaking to you drop any judgment you may have around missing a few days toward a project, or yoga or writing. Just jump back in where you are and start a new streak of momentum.
The 2018 me would have beaten myself up over missing a day which would have caused even more sabotaging behavior. But this year I am determined to just keep going and jump in where I left off.
I’m giving myself the grace and ease of going with the flow. And you can too. We have always had permission to do so. Sometimes we just forget. This is our reminder. When making any kind of change to your routine (diet, exercise, money, mindset, etc.) it first takes commitment, followed by a plan, and then taking action. It is important to commit for at least 21 days but it’s really better to commit for 40 days. Progress is not instantaneous and may not even be measurable! Which is why it is important to write down or photograph the status of “before.” What is your mentality like today? How much do you weigh? What did you eat? How long did you exercise? How do you FEEL? This gives you some version of a benchmark.
Over time you will begin to notice changes. Perhaps you notice fewer days of depression, less cravings for sugar, kinder words coming out of your mouth, more money is in your savings account, your jeans are a little looser... You don’t remember WHEN it happened, but suddenly, you noticed. You smile more, maybe even laugh sometimes. You appreciate little moments instead of complaining. Life becomes a pleasure instead of a chore. You actually want to get out of bed on Monday morning.
Life is improved in the small moments. The incremental changes will seem like HUGE changes a year from now, you just can’t see it yet.
A little more than a year ago, I got my starter kit with Young Living and as of today 70 more families have been blessed with their oils. That didn’t happen all at once, it happened incrementally over 16 months! It has been such a blessing that I’ve officially given my notice at work and will be a full-time entrepreneur come February.

I’m a work in progress. Constantly evolving, striving to be the best version of myself, whilst accepting my imperfections.⠀
Recently I had a conversation with a modelling client who, when she learned that I was a coach, remarked that I must “have my shit together”.⠀
This is a common misconception about people working in the health and wellness industry. That they must be experts.⠀
But in reality, I feel that I’ve been through a decent amount of hardship, which allows me to connect and empathise with people.⠀
I’ve made a bunch of mistakes and learned so many lessons along the way that I truly understand the process, at least part of it anyway.⠀
My time as a primary school teacher taught me that working collaboratively with people, learning and discovering together and being able to understand the “not knowing” is the best way to teach. Facilitating the learning of skills, rather than the learning of answers.⠀
I don’t have it all worked out, but I’ve had to “get my shit together” so many times that I’m pretty good at it now and I love helping others learn how to do that too.⠀
This year I’m looking for people who want to learn collaboratively, people who want to equip themselves with the skills that will help them navigate any challenge that comes their way, people who want to get so in touch with who they are at their core that they will always be able to find their way back, despite the inevitable ups and downs of life. I want to work with people who know deep down that they have a lot to offer, that they can teach just as much as they learn and who know they are worthy of more in their lives.⠀
