Last lesson we talked about the most important part of success - Showing Up!
This lesson is what we need to do when we actually show up for class. What do we do? ⠀
2. Put in the Effort! Give it your BEST! ⠀
Showing up is half the battle. The next half is putting in the effort! ⠀
Don’t waste your precious time, form the habit of giving your best efforts! Don’t settle for second best! ⠀
Push yourself as much as you can! ⠀
Always aim to do a little more, do that one extra push up, that one extra kick, do that one extra lap, do it a little faster, jump a little higher, hold your stance a little longer. ⠀
You see if you aim to improve just a little every single class you will have a massive improvement over the whole year! ⠀
Inch by inch is a cinch. Yard by yard is hard! ⠀
Just aim for little improvements each class.
Another point about giving it your best efforts is your motivation. What is your goal? Why do you want to do it?⠀
What do you want to achieve?
If you have a solid goal and you know exactly why you are doing it, every class you will automatically put in the effort. Every class you will work hard because you have that goal in mind! ⠀
Arnold Schwarzenegger said "every time I was lifting weights I was visualising myself holding that Mr Universe trophy on stage." He was highly motivated every single session because he had his goal, his dream, his vision! ⠀
That’s what you need to create. Create your Dream, your Vision your Goals, create your Why!
This will fuel you to not only put in the effort, but it will fuel you to show up, it will fuel you to not quit, it will fuel you to push through the tough times. Your dream, your goal is your fuel to succeed! ⠀
So write down exactly what you want to achieve and why you want to achieve it! ⠀
Then get to work, and make it happen!
