I know it’s not amazing, but this is about 3 weeks of progress from regular exercise, good water intake, and some diet changes. Sadly, I’m slightly bloated in this pic, but will do another in a week. 🙃

There are so many other things I would’ve rather been doing on this gorgeous Saturday then working out. I had to use one of my tricks to get through the work out today. 🌟Start your workout and do at least 10 minutes. If you want to quit after the 10 minutes then you can quit. But most times when you get 10 minutes in, you will finish. It works almost every time!👊🏻 I really didn’t want to start and once I got started quitting was what I really wanted to do but I didn’t let myself.
Most days I have no desire to quit but today was not one of them. Aaron and I got a good workout in just 25 minutes, so 10 minutes into it I knew I was almost half done and didn’t have the option to quit. Some days it takes a few more tricks to stay motivated. Looking back on my younger years I can remember when I was really unhealthy looking to change and didn’t know where to start. They say your younger years are you glory days. I can’t remember at any time I felt good about myself when I was younger. I am so much healthier and happier counting down to 30 🤭
I was that girl who would go out EVERY WEEKEND to the club or parties drinking. Waking up with a massive headache wanting a gallon of coffee and greasy food.
I was so unhealthy, going for take out and fast food almost everyday if not everyday. I always compared myself to other women in magazines thinking to myself I wish I could wear some of the outfits if I wasn’t to chunky. I had my fair share of insecurities but today I can honestly look at myself and see how amazing I look, feel strong and healthy. I can remember feeling stuck and not knowing how to change.
I look back on that girl and feel grateful for the lessons I learned. I am really grateful for the healthy path I chose! Each year I am smarter, healthier, happier, stronger.
After having my first baby I knew I wanted to be a great example of a healthy lifestyle. I want my kids to pick up on my healthy habits and feel great about themselves growing up. I don’t want them to EVER feel how I felt about myself. Now don’t get me wrong, they can still be kids and eat ice cream, I’m not depriving them lol
Don’t let your past define your future. Rather let your choices you made help shape the choices you will make.

Jeg har alltid vært opptatt av kropp, og jeg har vært svært aktiv hele livet mitt. Jeg har også slitt med spiseforstyrrelser som ung, hvor jeg omtrent ikke spiste i frykt for å legge på meg. Nå har jeg fått et bedre syn på kropp og helse, og det er mye viktigere å føle seg bra enn hva det er å se bra ut. Det å spise sunn, variert og næringsrik mat, gjerne 5-6 måltid per dag, og være bevist på egen kropp og hva man putter i den, det kommer man langt med.
Kroppen min har gått igjennom en enorm forandring i svangerskapet, og jeg veier fortsatt 10 kilo mer enn jeg gjorde før graviditeten. Jeg har mistet endel muskelmasse og må begynne helt fra start for å bygge opp kroppen min igjen, noe som kommer bli både interessant, spennende og krevende - spesielt med 3 barn. Jeg har ikke begynt treningen enda, og jeg kommer nok vente noen uker til før jeg begynner. Jeg tror det er viktig å ikke stresse, men la kroppen få tid til å heale seg på egenhånd. Dette er det jeg gjør av trening, strammer magemusklene fra tid til annen; og prøver få inn litt Yoga øvelser hver dag, jobber med å få kontakt med musklene igjen. Jeg gleder meg til å få kosthold på plass igjen, noe som ikke er så lett her på sykehuset, og jeg gleder meg til å trene igjen. Kanskje kunne det vært morro å lagd yoga og trenings videoer med babyene tilstede? Kunne dette vært noe du ville sett ? 😊❤️ .

I found myself doing it again. Sizing up another women in my workout this morning and noticing her tummy skin, “Well she has loose skin, and her abs are still popping.” These are the thoughts going through my head. As if I needed to make myself feel better based on her imperfections.
I stopped myself. I said three good things about her and then I asked God to help me say good positive things about my body. .
❤️ I think as women and mothers it is SO easy to get that competitive spirit and jealousy in such an unhealthy way. A lot of our competitiveness stems for our own insecurities and the need to compare to make ourselves feel better somehow. .
YOU my friend ARE ENOUGH! Did you read that. Let it sink in... In God you are enough, in your own strengths and even weaknesses, YOU ARE ENOUGH. I think it is ok to admire other things in other people, but not to where we diminish ourselves. Own up to the feelings of jealousy and feel comfortable as YOU. .
I have struggled my whole life with insecurities. Even when I am smaller in weight and finally have abs... (😱🤩), I have NEVER liked my legs and as I age they become even less appealing to me, but honestly I have come to the point that it just doesn’t matter.
I rather like me and I will speak life to myself and others. I ask you to join me! What is one thing about yourself that you might not like but that you will OWN TODAY!?!? Because whether it is something you can change or not you need to be ENOUGH right now wherever you are in your journey or quite frankly you just never will be. . .
You ARE fearfully and wonderfully made you beautiful friend! You don’t need her abs, or her legs... you need to love YOU and be the best version of YOU that you possibly can be! That starts with embracing you right now. ❤️

So I really want to share this because I feel like after my first child about 6 years ago I was so sadden to get deep stretch marks all over my lower stomach. I later began to to not be bothered by them however I will say it’s been a long time that I don’t wear a 2 piece bathing suit. This video is in Spanish because where I go that’s the primary language of the women that work there and let me tell you I feel so grateful to have found this treatment. So think of “the vampire facial” it’s pretty much that. A dermapen stabbing away at your skin to create injury which later produces new collagen during the healing process. This has created a smoother appearance to my stretch marks. I purchased 6 sessions and I go once a month. I’m on my 4th session and although I feel like I might need a few more I am pleased to say my stretch marks are slowly fading away. I’ve done other treatments and this is the only one I have found effective. The numbing cream applied before helps with discomfort which really isn’t that bad at all. Your treated area will be a bit fragile for the remainder of that day but the next day I always feel fine and back to normal. Your stomach will get slightly scabby and that’s when I apply my #strevectin #stretchmarkcream

Although it’s technically Friday, here’s a throwback Thursday to Current Thursday. I was just about 200 lbs on the left from being pregnant with JJ. Never in my life I had imagined being at that weight, not even while pregnant. But you can’t always do everything you want while being pregnant and my concern was my son being healthy and safe as he grew big and healthy preparing for his entrance. Fast forward to the right photo (taken today, approximately 8 months later) and I’m between 135-138 lbs. it’s definitely been a struggle to see myself at the much higher weight, but at the same time I was truly blessed to be welcoming my first and only healthy baby boy into this world. My journey has definitely had its ups and downs to where I am today. And Trying to get into the gym isn’t as easy as people make it out to be. I don’t have a gym where we can bring babies to (no daycare, etc) and I only have “x” amount of people who watches JJ. So when I haven’t been able to get in the gym, I train at home with the things so have. I make my own workouts, I stay within reasonable calorie intake to burn calories. As I enter each day waking up on a new day, I thank the lord for the start of a new day, for the little blessing he’s given me everyday and for everything I have and my health. These past few weeks have been a big highlight in my exercises as I’ve been able to be more consistent than previous weeks. But it’s not just my workouts that’s gotten me to where I am. inspo. How bout that 3 wk “bounce back.” GAG. This leaves women feeling like they are beyond help because of weight gain, pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, mental health issues, and more. Even when these mothers do search for help, it can be really hard to find. Until this changes, you must relentlessly advocate for yourself and/or your partners.
Getting “cleared” for exercise isn’t enough. You are lifting your baby well before 6 weeks and you are not magically healed after 6 wks. Find a pelvic floor physical therapist. Find a therapist. Find a #pregnancyandpostpartumathleticismcoach

I’ve been out of my element for about a week now because of traveling and family circumstances.
Most often you hear oh I’m traveling I can’t work out or I’m traveling I don’t have time to work out. People often use it as an excuse to make poor choices relative to their health.
I have been diligent and made time to work out every single day since I arrived. Have I posted everything on social media, no. In fact I’ve stayed away from social media for the most part for the last few days. But today we’re getting back on track.
Today I share with you day 30! Today was leg day of phase two! And holy moly was it tough!
I also share some of the struggles with traveling. Has my nutrition been on point, no, definitely not. Have I been trying to make the best choices that I can.. yes, but there have been times where I have not eaten the best. The good news is, one or two poor choices won’t ruin all of the progress you make. So it’s back to proper nutrition, healthy eating and sharing my journey!

My little rascal has been teething, his fifth tooth is coming out and he is been biting everything and drooling like crazy. 😬
His favorite bitting toy right now is his teething key ring. I put it in the freezer and give it to him and he loves the coldness, he bits it until it's not cold anymore. 🙂
I would highly recommend it for your little ones. If you have kids under 4 months I use to just use kai's burp cloth and run it through cold water and wrap my finger with it and wash his gums to help relieve the itch. #teethingbaby #teethingtoy
