so you know, it’s an average day, i’m scrolling through my social media, and i just happen to see someone’s posted a picture of their friend with the caption “maasi” which is obviously used as a derogatory term. and istg it makes me want to throw my phone out the window. khuda ka khof karo, we’re living in 2019 but y’all are still classist pieces of shits. just because someone belongs to the lower part of the social hierarchy, does it mean that they can’t be the epitome of beauty? ajeeb chutyapa hai, since when did your maid become synonymous to ugly? pretty sure she’s a better human being than you. aur upar se, the social construct of being pretty is subjective, everyone has different perspectives on who is beautiful. anyway, back to the topic, you should be ashamed of yourself if you think maasi is an insult. and i could insert lots of ahadith and quranic verses on equality, but why must i justify bigotry by the religion card. i think it is common sense that how much money a person has doesn’t determine their value, and especially does not alter their looks, because that shit is more biological. plus, pretty heart is equal to pretty face. .
