Sweaty HIIT won the story vote! But just barely soo should I share legs next?
👐🏼I've been gradually adding plyos back into my workouts. When I feel like I can't connect to the deep core in them anymore I go to a modified version:) but none of them are so completely plyos yet!
Super important to remember modifying is completely ok and sometimes what we need! You're still getting it done🙌🏼
Modifications that I go to for low impact will go up on @sugarysixpackmoms
📱For full wokrout plans made after my own training check out the Sugarysixpack app linked in my bio!🙌🏼
⭐35 seconds work : 12-15 rest x 4 rounds⭐
×Single leg burpee R&L×
×Reach squat hop×
×Lateral Squat Hop×
Yup, still posting beach photos because this weekend was the first cold weekend and I’m already over it #frozen
Never neverr quit! I used to make fun of my college coach for putting that on our shirts🤷♀️ not proud of that of that buttt it took work to get where I am today mentally 😄
As long as we don't quit on ourselves, we're doing great things. Show up and do your best!🙌🏼
I didn't get any of my workouts done in NYC 🤷♀️. I intended to, I packed my clothes and shoes buttt sightseeing won out. Add to it that I left the day after a rest day and I had 4 days in a row off.
Nothing crazy happened😁 I didn't suddenly lose all my hard work or progress. I was just extra ready and excited to get back to it when I got home.
I mentioned this in my story yesterday but I think it's worth sharing here too cause we can be so hard on ourselves for little things like this:)
It's ok to take a few days off here and there, even if they're unplanned like this. Sometimes choosing the fun activity or company of loved ones on a trip is more important that sticking strictly to your routine.
Creating a flexible lifestyle that works towards our health/ fitness goals helps us to make lasting progress cause we are living a life we can still enjoy. When we can enjoy it and give ourselves a break sometimes, we can maintain it long term and have lasting progress.
♡It's what we do most of the time that determines our progress, not what we do occasionally. Never give up on yourself! We all have days where other things are more important. We can never fail in this fitness lifestyle thing as long as we don't quit.
Lower body🔥some SugarySixpack app favorites & future additions 👌🏼 last slide is purely for your enjoyment 🤣
So again, I'm focusing on my deep core engagement here and either using a light connection through the exercise(while still breathing!) or the belly pump! (first exercise coupled with my pants makes breathing look a little funky buttt, working on it there too!)
Should I make a quick video explaining the difference? If you have the SugarySixpack app there are videos on both in the 'sugary videos' section!:)
Be sure whatever you're stepping on is sturdy!

Hello! For any new followers, I just want to share a little about myself. I am a stay at home mama with 2 beautiful toddler boys. I consider myself Canadian Colombian 🇨🇦🇨🇴 because I was born in Canada but my parents are Colombian 😍 I live in the beautiful, multicultural city of #toronto
and I like to do core workouts 💪 with my babies crawling all over me and share those workouts on YouTube (#linkinbio
) My latest video features my babies running a muck while I try to work out. I love Autumn 🍁 because of the beginning of hockey season, Halloween and Thanksgiving. My big toddler is Leo James and he is a handful and a half and my little toddler is Alfie Ray and he is just a handful 😍 Thanx for checking us out! 😘 Wishing everyone a joyful and productive day 💪🌞🍁😁 #momlife #mumlife #supermama #supermom #dopemom #fitmum #mommyworkouts #mommyproblems #autumn #happyhealthymom #toddlerlife #toddlerboys #beyourbestyou #canadian #colombiana #fallinthe6ix
Noah Roberts first big trip & my first big project since having him!😁
This was another reminder for me that sometimes closed doors are really leading us to another opportunity. All staring at that closed door too long does is keep us from seeing other things meant for us. So when things don't go as planned we should never be discouraged or give up. We're probably being led to something better for us:)
Also feeling so blessed to be able to bring my parents to help with @itsnoahrobert
there is no way I could have managed it without them for the travel or 10 hour shoot day😄
Today’s cardio & core workout...
Smiling big to HONOR and MOVE for:
🙏🏻 those who no longer can... may they Rest In Peace....
💪🏼 for those fighting their disease states AND comorbidities with doctor appointments, copays, medications and devices and don’t quite move like they used to... may they Keep Strong...
☮️ for those loved ones and caretakers bedside watching their beloved... may they Take Care of themselves and find Peace
💡 for those who continue their behaviors as if they’re invincible not truly understanding or truly choosing not to, the damage they do for themselves and those around them... may they not suffer rather... may they get woke and make a change
A little under the weather with some difficulty to catch a breath through my cardiovascular workout... I chose to keep going and keep breathing for those that live like this daily or as they take their last breaths and much much worse.
I will work these lungs and keep them healthy to flow that oxygen to all my organs and cells and keep me moving!! I will control what I can... and that is me!
✔️ Wet feet
✔️ Wet buns
Soaked and satisfied! We managed to get in our run and playtime despite all the storms 🌧
You can sulk in the storm or dance in it! The choice is yours 😘
Don’t look back, just keep moving forward 🏃🏻♀️
Sometimes I feel slightly guilty not being with Noah while working out. Sometimes I feel guilty that I don't always make us dinner like I used to. Sometimes I feel guilty that I miss DMs or comments from you guys or don't get to go live for questions as often as I used to.
Guilt tries to edge in a lot more than sometimes over a lot more random things, especially when I take time for something I perceive as 'me' time, like my workout.
Most of the time I catch myself. I realize that while that time is 'me' time and 'self' care, it really makes me a better person for all of those things I mentioned above. It keeps my stress low, I'm more pleasant and at my best.
We will pretty much always have a million things we could be doing when we choose to workout, or to do whatever it is self care looks like for you, life is just full of things 🤷♀️.
Even though it may feel wrong or selfish in the, taking that time to do something that refills your cup only allows you to be your best when others need you.
Soo this is my reminder and your reminder that it's ok to take a minute to take care of yourself 😊
Exercises for Expecting Mommies dropping soon.
But why workout while pregnant?
First of all you’re body is trying to capitalize on its fatty tissues for the baby, so exercising can help manage the weight gained and makes it a little easier to work it out after delivery.
Decreases risk of pregnancy complications like gestational diabetes and preeclampsia. We know exercising helps reduce hypertension (high blood pressure), which causes preeclampsia= deduced risk of PREECLAMPSIA!
Helps with back pain induced by pregnancy. Pregnancy causes a shift in your center of gravity (the belly), and larger breasts, which effects your posture. Low stress exercises can alleviate the low back and mid back pressure.
These are three reasons, I have four more that I’ll continue to share in future post.
HIIT! As promised in the story vote😁Not sure how I didn't notice the amazing light from the blinds 🤦♀️ buttt that's ook, it'll get you sweaty good or bad light🤣!

×Hinge Curl Press×
×Switch Lunge R&L×
Modifications going up on @sugarysixpackmoms
..probly tomorrow.. Noah had already woken up twice since am hour & a half ago😱
Don't let his smile fool you😂 this afternoon was spits, screams and spills 90% of the time (spills done by me but it's hard not to partially blame the screams 😅).
Most of my days right now are not productive in a way that allows me to sit back and smile at about a finished to do list feeling accomplished. As someone who likes to get stuff done.. it's taken a lot not to stress this. Andd I still occasionally fall into it even though I love what I'm doing and where im at 🤷♀️.
I know this period of time is short term and I don't want to wish a moment away. It's only a matter of time until sleep and naps are solidified and I'm back to getting some things done that maybe aren't baby related for a few hours a day 🤣.
A lot of times we stress over not being where we want in life or feeling like things aren't happening quickly for us like we think they should.
I always remember my mom telling me (probably when I was being dramatic over something) that when we were all young she felt like she wasn't able to do things she wanted to, until one day while folding laundry and praying about it she realized that she was where she was meant to be in that phase of life.
The story always stuck with me and I think about it on days that I feel like maybe I should somehow do more or could be somehow doing things differently to be more productive.
But, whatever phase I'm in I want to be able to look back and say I gave it my all and did my best. I really think that's all we can ask of ourselves in anything!
Anyways, just a share because I had no time for any kind of fitness to share yet today, @itsnoahrobert
went wild after the car trip back lol🤦♀️
What's a food fear you have? Something you think if you eat will make you "fat" or lose progress🙈.
It's a crazy thing to actually be scared of a food, but thousands of women are. Fear of eating that cookie, piece of cake, slice of pizza, or anything not labeled "healthy"🙅🏻♀️. Which can also be misleading, just because something is healthy or made with healthy ingredients doesn't necessarily mean it's the best thing to eat.
Funny story, years ago when I believed in the "Fat Free", "Low Carb", "Guilt Free" labels all the manufacturers put on their products🙄 I assumed I could eat endless amounts. I would buy the Joe's Joe's cookies from Trader Joes and legit eat the whole box in one day🤪. THINKING it was made with healthy ingredients so it was OK to eat WRONG. I also did this with rice cakes, WhoNu cookies (anyone remember those?), peanut butter (still have a problem with PB🤓) and trail mix....which I'm still convinced is some kind of drug because it's SO ADDICTING😜. .
It's definitely taken me a few years to really figure out this whole balanced eating. I use to fear bread, now I eat over a loaf a week🍞, I feared any meat besides turkey or chicken, wouldn't eat any pastas ever, and thought anything sweet was off limits🍫. I was in a bad cycle of extreme healthy eating Mon-Fri and then binge eating Saturday and Sunday. .
But I think we are taught that less is better. If you want to be "skinny" "toned" or "fit" you need to eat less. WHICH is so wrong❗️Your body needs the food for fuel. REAL food!!! No food needs to be fully off limits. Eating a balanced diet, enjoying all varieties of foods is possible while getting results. Which is something I press to my clients. I never want them to feel deprived. If you crave chocolate everyday by all means have chocolate just find a healthier version, I choose @jojoschocolatebark
I literally eat some EVERYDAY!! (Use code FITWITHBRIT 🍫🍫).
This life style isn't meant to feel like a trap, it's meant to make you feel strong and happy💪🏼.
