Life is busy even as a stay at home mom 😬 between trying to run a in-house business and fit a bunch of cleaning into a couple hours a day while the diva of the house sleeps it sometimes feels like there isn’t enough hours in a day 😴 I remember the days of naps and being out all night with my friends 🙄 when being a actual adult was the last thing on my mind 🤓 and defiantly wasn’t worrying about what I was putting in my body , specially on those drunk 😵 binges 😖 I defiantly am more mindful now , I don’t drink 🍷 anymore and Halloween 🎃 is my 1 year anniversary of quitting smoking 😉 I try to put as much minimally processed food as possible into my body . I mean I defiantly want to be around when I’m 80 😏 so no matter how busy I am I always find time to get my super foods in and it usually is with a banana 🍌 mixed in 🤤 as we get older it takes our body a longer time to heal and feel better hense the 3 day hangovers you probably didn’t get in your early 20s . Taking care of oneself might seem boring to others but the IMPORTANT thing is that it’s important to you ! .

With little man slowly integrating to kindergarten this week, this mama has been enjoying some quiet time to herself. Even though it’s only about an hour and a half each day right now, it allows me to get some work done, enjoy my breakfast in peace and the opportunity to run a few errands without having to drag kids around. I could get used to this 😜. Plus the excitement in his eyes when I pick him up each day is absolutely worth it 💕

I am exactly where I am supposed to be right now in life ❤️ I think of where I was a year ago and I could not be more thankful of where I am now! I was in a toxic environment around some toxic people and man did it affect my soul!
It’s hard when you want to keep going and be there for those who truly appreciate you but toxic people can ruin that of those of the good!
So here I am, beyond happy and thankful! Counting my lucky stars God was looking out for me! Enjoying more time with my family, more me time, and surrounded by a ton of positivity!
If something ever sucks the life out of you or doesn’t bring you joy... it’s time to move on. Thankful for this amazing run today that made me realize even more I am right where I’m supposed to be❤️🍁🍂🍃

These girlies did so great at the dentist! They each had a baby tooth pulled that was blocking an adult tooth ready to come in. (same tooth but opposite sides must be a twin thing 😉). I remember back when they were younger the dentist was a nightmare. So proud of them!! And a picture of my sweet boy. We were pooped after the busy morning and got to take a short afternoon nap... until the doorbell rang lol.
Today was rough. Not because of one specific thing but it was just rough. You could say it was a series of unfortunate events. 😣
I tried to make the best of it but I was in 100% survival mode. If you’ve ever potty trained a child and then had said child regress... you feel some of my pain today. 🤦🏻♀️
As my long day is drawing to a close, I’m looking forward to a better day tomorrow. 💫
But one thing I will say. I was so on top of my hydration today! I’m loving my new water bottle, it’s a @hidratespark
and it uses Bluetooth to connect to my phone! I got it a couple weeks ago for 50% off because the box was beat and it was missing the carrying loop PLUS I had a 20% off coupon!
One of the reasons I love homeschooling is seeing that light 💡 click! 💥 There’s nothing like seeing my girls learn something, and start applying it to life. Today, it clicked for Haven the difference between hundreds, tens and units. When there’s 10 units it transfers from a single number to double digits. I literally could see the excitement in her eyes that it made sense.
I love helping people do the same thing with exercise 🏋🏻♀️ & nutrition 🍎 There’s nothing like seeing that 💡 turn on, change old habits, create new and get the right thinking, which results in the body they long for. It truly is difficult to do this on your own. That is why I have been locking arms and coaching others for the last 10 years.

Love using the cable machine (as many of you may already know 😊) You can mimic pretty much any exercise you do with dumbbell/barbell on the cable machine and it adds more resistance! It’s also a great way to go heavier with lower risk of injury too🙌🏼 -

I don't have babies anymore, but my youngest still get up in the middle of the night from time to time, which means less sleep for Mama 😪

on a weekly basis - All the Things I Love - I find that I will quickly wear myself out unintentionally. .
(which are the things I lacked) are to:
1. drink more water 💧
2. get a full 7 hours of sleep
3. fit in a #yoga
session 3+ times a week for a good stretch and
4. create a solid #bedtimeroutine
To be a joyful & cheerful 👩, we all need to care for ourselves mentally, physically and spiritually. #selfcare
The day came where I needed new shoes. And usually i go with my old stand by. But alas, ky beautiful babies have changed my feet and i have put off changing brands of shoes for far too long. My toes thank me and most def prob of #motherrunners
Why is it so hard for runners to change? Brands of shoes? Running time of days? Race prep superstitions? What we eat for runs? We sound like a bunch of lunatics...dont worry I welcome you all to my page b.c I am straight up one of those lunitics too. 🏃♂️
But guess what my friends it was ok. Despite my mental game being a hot mess my feet felt great! My toes could breathe and my feet felt weightless. So on that note #changeisgood

Now what else should I change...i have felt the feelings of change and it feels good and so did this run when I was done with it. #ouch
1 miles up, 2 x 1.5 miles at 9 min pace (although on TM.but just wasnt feeling it but was able to do it!) And then CD to 6. .
esp on days you would have quit and most imp allow change..its good for you! Lol .

Mixing it up keeps it interesting so a new program it is and that’s the beauty of having the Netflix of fitness programs for me to choose from. ⠀⠀

I workout every day because I have been blessed with the ability to do so. I have a family that I want to keep up with! I'm not going to waste away sitting on the couch watching tv! .
That's not living! .
So today I challenge you! .
Get up! Find time today to get in at least 10 minutes of moving your body. It can be anything, but just do it! Then do it again tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day!
Then add more time! .
You will find that after being consistent you will start putting it into your schedule. You will make it a priority. You will start feeling better. .
