When Qrow got home, because the feild trip was for the end of the year, he opened up the paper. He read it, and it had a scroll number on it. He gasped. He was going to be able to talk to Ozpin after all, even if he couldn't see him anymore.
However, after a while, that didn't seem to be the case.
For months, they started talking less and less, until they would only talk once every three months, for about five minutes at a time. Until one day, when Qrow knew it was Ozpins sixteenth birthday, all contact was entirely lost when Qrow called him multiple times and couldn't get through. "Knock knock, open up, birdie!" Summer knocked on the door of Qrows mini cabin in his tribe, smiling. She had a box full of peanut butter cupcakes, which were Qrows favorite.
Qrow was a sad mess, as he opened the door. "Hey, Summer..." He looked at her. He looked tired, but happy to see her. She bursted into the room. "I brought your favorite cupcakes!" She set them on the table and smiled, sitting on his bed. "What's wrong?" She asks, when noticing that he was so sad. He laid back down on the bed, and she shifted, sitting on his lap slightly. "Talk to me, Qrow. Is it Ozpin?" How'd she know? Qrow sighed and nodded. "Yeah...my calls won't get through. It's his birthday, Sum... I just wanted to wish him a happy birthday. I wonder what's been making him so "busy"." He scoffs. "Maybe he just doesn't wanna talk to me anymore." "Nope. You're the best, Qrow! You're my favorite person in the whole world! Of course he would want to talk to you!" She smiled down at him, which made Qrows mood increase in a matter of seconds.
There's a knock at the cabin door, after Qrow takes a bite of a peanut butter cupcake. "Is Qrow Branwen in there?" Qrow almost instantly recognized the voice, groaning. Kendall Ironwood. He opened the door, seeing the man in white, with black hair. "Yes?" He used to be a teacher in atlas, but was moved over to help the King and to help the King watch over the kingdom. "Come with me, please... We must have a talk. It's mandatory."
