I booked a fashion photo shoot with a women’s boutique and a private makeup tutorial with a new client, AND took a wonderful professional development course on business strategy. I’m feeling motivated and ready for the new week✊🏽 #mondaysdonthavetosuck #motivationalmonday #monslay

Back at it on this lovely Monday! It’s been a week since my last workout, and while I could give a shit ton of excuses, but I won’t. The fact is I’m back and ready to work super hard toward my powerlifting goals! I’ve got a new training regimen and I can’t wait to see how I progress! Today was a great workout and I know m my legs are going to be sore tomorrow! Another great workout to start the week right!

Getting the right nutrition, balancing life and most importantly truly taking care of myself has left me at awe with what can change with just a few months! Loving how these clothes are beginning to fit!!!!!!!! 🥰💃🏻🙋🏻♀️💆🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️

On Day 1, you think you’ll never get there.
By Day 3, you’re tired and sore.
Week 2 - 4, you question the process, is the effort worth it.
At week 12, you see it. You feel it.

There’s sweat, effort, eating more good food than bad, not restricting yourself, and not getting caught up in any sort of perfection.
It’s about living life in a healthy way.
And because that motivation from day 1 - week 4 is a roller coaster of highs and lows — I’m here to guide the way.
Because I’ve been there.
And thought I had to be perfect to get results.

I’m posting a lot on this #MotivationMonday
, but dang, does it feel good to be in a new week and know that next week I get to weigh in and see my progress! This has basically been my mindset all of today! •
Weigh in on the 17th! 🤩 Let’s see if I’ve made any progress towards my goal this last month! I plan on making this week a rockstar week! 💪🏼 my goal is to have one full week ( 7 days!) ON-TRACK. I’m hoping I can make this happen!
Just over here being a terrible fan 🙈😳but I finally made it out to see Crimes of Gindelwald! It was so good! Who has seen it?!!
It always seems impossible until it’s done, right? When I decided to sign up for a marathon, I never imagined how much of my training would focus on grit. Today’s run was 16 miles and although it was challenging, I found it easier than my 14 mile run last week. The grit that I develop with each run doesn’t just last for that specific run but follows to help me accomplish the next demanding run. I was able to anticipate how my body would feel, what thoughts would consume my mind and how to prepare for it when the going got tough. It’s often the fear of the unknown that is the ultimate challenge for me, especially without previously being tested in this capacity. Not all runs will be favorable but no run is ever wasted and can be used as a lesson for the next. I’m learning to find value in trusting the struggle.
My turn around point was at a park that I would run, pushing my boys in their double jogging stroller when they were little and we would play for hours. Those sweet memories were fuel to remain focused and remember that I’ve accomplished strenuous things before and crossed the “finish line”. Perhaps this training will not just fill my heart with precious memories of my boy’s childhood as I run through familiar paths but be an opportunity to forgive myself for being so critical and unfair to the younger me and finally acknowledge that I’ve been strong all along.
