I wore my jacket for the first mile because I was chilly. And that was inside! This is the first Saturday we’ve had open for a couple months (work stuff, work stuff & more work stuff) and it feels like the world is my oyster!

Palm trees and Head stands. They have a cool little workout community here on this beach gym. Not really my thing as I prefer the traditional steel weights and indoor gym, but it was cool to check it out. I can barely do a sit up so I was definitely out of my element with all of this body weight stability stuff. Regardless, everyone is moving here in the morning, either running, biking, or working out. Still looking for that “it” burger in Miami. Maybe I’ll find it today.

Unfortunately, in this life you may walk through some difficult times. But the persistence keeps you in the game! You have to continuously show up, EVERY SINGLE DAY! Even when you’re deep in the trenches, you’re persistence will pull you through!
I almost didn’t sign up for my class this morning but I am so glad I did! Workout because you love your body & you want to do something good for it NOT because you hate the way you look! God created you, the way you are right now for a specific reason! Be brave enough to accept you as you are & do your part to work hard at keeping this body functional & healthy!😘🙌🏼

Such a productive day!
I had a long session with my friend @carolinemelodymeyer.
We both studied the same nutrition course & she is also a experienced PT in Amsterdam.
She showed me which exercises I totally need to avoid due to my back surgery & she corrected my form & posture.
She explained me which exercises I can do and gave me modifications to those who are too invasive for my lower back.
It’s good to know I need to be conscious and mindful of everything I do with my back.
From now on I will focus on my form & know where my limits are.
It’s difficult because I tend to forget I have a titanium bar inside my back but I don’t want to injure myself. .
