Thank you Rachael @hypmama for organising a super duper evening! Loved it! ♡ ・・・
Such an amazing night for our first Mama Club. Thank you to @dove_and_olive for hosting...your homemade cake was on point as always.
Thank you to new mama @jrybiczonek555 for joining us and reinforcing all things positive about birth by sharing your experience. We will be meeting once a month at Dove and Olive, with the next meeting on Thursday 19th April. This is a class free zone, just relax and chat. It honestly felt like we had known each other for years, a lovely bunch of ladies. We want this to be an open club for any stage of your pregnancy journey; whether you are trying to conceive, are pregnant or had your baby. Meet and chat with other like minded women. Bring along family or friends ❤️ #mamatobe#liverpoolmama#doveandolive#liverpool#mamatobeclub#mossleyhill#l18#pennylane#hypnobirthing#mumtobe#liverpoolmums#allerton#meetnewmums #
To all the pregnant mommas out there who’ve woken up feeling more tired than when they went to bed... YOU GOT THIS!
Take some time for you today, there’s a brilliant free app called headspace which helps you through some guided meditation and relaxation!
You can set for different lengths of time beginning at 2 minutes!
What do you do to relax?
Today we were talking sensory baskets in our sensory and baby massage session - here’s some ideas of things that you can do easily at home! Remember - all sensory means is something that you explore with your touch, smell, sight, or hearing - so different textured fabrics are a great way to start (and mess free!) you can also use a range of wooden materials - wooden spoons, dolly pegs, loofahs, massage sponges and so on. Edible paint can be made by adding food colouring to natural yoghurt! Mine loved the paint in a bag idea too and we had soooo much fun with them (mess free!) Send us a pic of your finished sensory boxes!
Another great session with our personal trainer this evening on our Antenatal Course! It’s so good to discuss how this weight gain impacts our bodies as women and how we can gently alleviate the stresses and strains with some gentle stretches and exercise! Even better to see our pregnant mums go out feeling looser, relaxed and back pain relieved! @shazzad1pt you are incredible!
