Holy crap! It’s been a year and 3 days! Last year on September 22nd I told myself that I’d get down to 145 lbs, my high school weight. Starting at 157 lbs I lost 8 lbs at the end of the first month through diet and exercise/breakin’ practice 5 days a week. Half way throughout the process I lost track because I hit my goal of 145 at 6 months and I currently maintain a weight between 145-147 lbs. I lost my way after the 6 month mark due to Spring/Summer Events weekly but I never quit. I know that people may see that losing weight was easy for me as I have skinny genes but to be consistently active is an accomplishment in itself. Never give up even if you’ve slowed down. I FAILED . Yesterday I FAILED. I fell victim to the laziness & voice inside my head telling me to stay in bed & that I was going to do a body weight workout at home (I didn’t) . All day yesterday I had the killer feeling of regret & I felt gross, blah, whatever word you want to use to describe the feeling you have when you miss a workout... . Fast forward to this morning... I had a restless night because my mind was racing because I am at a HUGE crossroads with myself on what I want to do with my life.. I was up till 3am and had a kickboxing class at 915... . Here I was again in the same situation that I was yesterday.. the difference between yesterday & today is I got my ass up! It’s OK to fail sometimes just make sure you LEARN from failure! . This may be something small but it’s the little things that mean the most. Learn from failure use it to your advantage in order to better yourself! #COMMENT a failure you’ve used to your advantage & I’ll like & comment on your pics!
