We were very excited to visit Napier having been (a) Told by Amelia that it was a really nice cool town, and (b) read a lot about it in the guidebooks
It was a good start to find another freedom camping area right on the beach, and a really pleasant walk into town
Its such an outdoor lifestyle over here and the facilities in Napier seemed particularly good. The seafront is beautiful with arty constructions all along it
The town itself was reconstructed, much of it in the few years after a massive earthquake in February 1931, in an Art Deco style. We loved it. The library and museum is fantastic with really informative displays detailing the devastation and rebuild, and in memory of more than 200 people who lost their lives
A highlight of our trip so far!

If you really enjoy the time with your motorhome, photos like this happen. Thank you @cool.beach.mama
I was thinking today about childhood dreams. My biggest desires were to be a wife, a mother and to travel. I am truly blessed to be living my dreams with these four amazing people. They are my favorites.

A look at a Classic on #TBT
, a1973 GMC Motorhome 🔥
The GMC Motorhome was powered by an Oldsmobile 455 CID V-8 (Later, a 403 CID V-8) with the Cadillac Eldorado/Oldsmobile Toronado automatic transaxle, which moved the front wheels. The GMC was not the first front-wheel-drive RV, but this setup was still a breakthrough at the time. The bodies are aluminum up top and fiberglass on the bottom, all over an aluminum frame. This means they have held up well over the years and won’t rot as most RVs can. They came in either 23- or 26-foot lengths, the difference being between the front and rear wheels, and are 8 feet wide and 9 feet tall, including the roof air conditioners. The 26-foot Motorhome weighs about 12,500 pounds; expect 9-11 mpg. This Classic is still going strong in 2019! #tbt #rv #rvclassic #gmcmotorhome #rving #rvmaintenance #rvcamping #rvcare #rvservicecenter #rvshop #motorhomes #motorhome #motorhomelife
Some of you might wonder how I pay for travel or not lol it is expensive though and company paid in my case. I'm an electrician, fore(wo)man actually. I don't get to choose where I go either but regardless, I find adventure.
Atalanta loves the cold brutal snowy weather almost as much like I do ❤
Hiking selfies at sunset! 😍🌳🥾🌳 The only wildlife we saw were the three noisy little Foxes 🦊 🦊 🦊. I try to convince them that if we are quite we may see some animals but it doesn't seem to help.

🇬🇧We got loads done in the last few days after getting some beautiful driftwood from Thirlmere to make coat hooks for our van.
🇩🇪Wir haben viel geschafft in den letzten Tagen nachdem wir wunderschönes Treibholz gefunden haben, welches wir in Kleiderhaken für unseren Van verwandeln werden.
Hiked Holbert Trail to Dobbins Lookout at South Mountain Preserve. It was 2.5 miles (5, roundtrip) of nothing but up, up, up. ⛰ Such a fun, beautiful trail! Saw a coyote and he decided to follow us up the trail for a ways. 🐕 Earned our January Challenge badge with over 70 miles hiked/walked for the month, so far. 🏆 💪🏻 #naturecise #earnit #hikersofinstagram
Quase congelamos! 😆🙌🏽🚐🇪🇸 #eusoquerotudo #ESQTnaEstrada #ESQTnaEspanha
