My first attempt at wildlife. Taken literally on the hop!
We’ve been watching fires ravage California at both its ends. As @quesara_
pointed out, it’s much harder for people to separate themselves from the deep tragedy of others right now — when you can literally feel their devastation in your eyes and throats and lungs. The smoke has been oppressive, and it’s a constant, important reminder of our neighbors up north and south who suffer unspeakably.
If you don’t believe in climate change, open your eyes. Our lack of political will is literally killing us, and it’ll only get worse. This isn’t about saving the earth (it never was). This is about saving ourselves. Whichever issues you care about — immigration, healthcare, education, whatever — recognize that all of these things presuppose the existence of a society. Without it, our very existence could be rendered irrelevant. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We cannot continue to lose the narrative. This is global climate disruption. Wildfire seasons are longer, droughts are more sustained, hurricanes are stronger — and it’s happening faster than we anticipated. Climate change can no longer be an issue limited to policy leaders, activists, and single-issue voters. Every single one of us will be affected. Whether we can gather the political will — and give future generations the fighting chance to drive the clean energy economy further and faster than we ever could — is up to us.

A view for some. A lifestyle for others 🏔
Craving some views like these today. What’s the best adventure you’ve been on recently?
Lowri, Danny an Gwen. You'll never guess what they were all looking at... 😋
The state of Utah has to be one of the best places in the world to rock climb (from north to south). Park City has some great indoor, rope-free venues to practice. I’m scaling the climbing wall here at the Park City MARC which is small but perfect for beginners. If you’re more advanced or want to take it to the next level, check out The Mine Bouldering Gym at Kimball Junction. @pc_recreation @theminebouldering
When they say “take a hike” and you take them literally....
SERENITY|| the state of being calm, peaceful and untroubled.
I recently discovered that lemongrass is one of my favourite essential oils! I was dissecting my favourite blends and they all have it. Surprise, surprise haha.
Everytime I get into the studio I start with a fresh blend that helps energize and inspire me. I make some of my own using recipes from Pinterest or I use the magical ones from @younglivingeo
If you have a diffuser, try this one today!
-3 drops Lemongrass
-2 drops Bergamot
-2 drops Lavender

I can’t believe Thanksgiving is this week and we are nearing the end of the year.
2018 has been a crazy good and crazy difficult year all at the same time. This year started with the loss of our sweet pup, Tyrza, shortly and unexpectedly followed by my Grandma. I thought this year was going to be awful.
But then God has answered many of our prayers,by bringing people and resources into our lives, I’ve been able to pay off $33k of debt while still growing my business and am working toward paying all of my husband’s student loans by the end of next year. We have been blessed with the sweetest new friends that have been so uplifting in this season, our family is well, and Kai...she has healed so many broken places in my heart—we never knew it at the time when we put our deposit down on her just how much she would help us. But she truly is the sweetheart God knew we needed.
I’m excited to finish this year, and to finish it well!
How has your 2018 been?!?
