Just a tiny human on a glacier putting life into perspective.

IMPORTANT: The unfortunate event of the cougar attack here in Washington state reminded me of something all of us should be aware of and that’s spatial awareness and having some sort of protection on you especially when out in the mountains or anywhere in nature. I use this photo as a representation that although you think nothing is out there, chances are something is always watching you. It’s easy to let your guard down when you’re in some of the most peaceful and quiet places but we must always be aware of our surroundings and respect that we are always in “someone else’s home”. Although we’ve all heard this, it’s important to be reminded. Stay safe out there my fellow adventurers ❤️
Exploring roads as they open.
It’s not running away when you’re home away from home, it’s an adventure, we were meant to roam.
Some of the best roadside views in Washington
Spring in the valley is one of my favourite times of the year. Something about the light. And the sunsets are incredible. Everything is green and vibrant, before the summer heat turns it all yellow and brown. The lakes are warming (not warm yet though!) and I’m reminded again why I chose to live here.
