“Mama, you gon’ have to hold on, you know I wore my red heels and they keep stickin’ between the planks.”... things I hear from the fellow visitors of this beautiful park.

I fell in love with Oregon these past 10 days! But I made it to my new “home” in Washington for the next few months. Let’s see if it can compete for my heart🌹🌷🌹🌷
Happy Birthday, B!! You brighten my life by just being in it. Keep being you 💕
Hiding out overnight near Clear Lake OR, on the way to Hood River.
“He told me everything I ever did” .... and yet He still loved me.

"A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there." 🌱🦋🏔 From attempting to overcome my semi-fear of heights and going on intense and challenging hikes to moving around and living/working in new, unknown places, I've stepped out of my comfort zone many times. It's scary, but I've never regretted it, and it's always been a wonderful learning experience. This week, I'll do it once again, but in a much different way.
This week I'm on my first official "business trip"! Starting tomorrow I'll be attending a weeklong interpretive trainers course with the National Association of Interpretation. It's exciting, yet intimidating at the same time. I'm happy for such a great opportunity, but I'm nervous too. I'll be out of my comfort zone, but in the best way possible.
It's a new experience, and I'm looking forward to challenging myself in a new setting, learning new skills, and being able to learn from and network with other professionals in my field. I can't wait to see all the ways it helps me grow both professionally and personally! Here goes nothing!
