Trying to remember how... new version of a 2010 image, it won't be here for long
to write a poem for you
about the sounds of the inaudible
and the sights of the invisible
and the flavors of colors that are seemingly inedible
but then i realized
that this unspoken poem can only be known through moments impenetrable by words alone
and these experiences will shape shift in the space of each brave soul willing to go against the grainy imprints of the familiar.
In today’s “sweat culture” I feel like I want to reiterate that an effective workout doesn’t ALWAYS need to see you clinging to your last breaths of life. Those kinds of workouts can be kept to once (or maybe twice if you’re the type that walks to a meditative pace) per week (even then, if you’re highly stressed that kind of workout is almost pointless). On the days you’re not training for a Spartan war, try weights, a walk, or...I dunno, reformer pilates! [insert my 20 min quick reformer session]
Set your workout schedules to HEALTH ... not just sweat.
