The first cinema visit this year. Steve Carell and Timothée Chalamet were both brilliant in it. But the film itself wasn't that brilliant. I guess it was a bit too long and I found some scenes pointless to be honest. 6/10
"The Human Centipede"
Directed by Tom Six, 2009.
Love this one! Certainly, it was a bit disturbing and totally bizarre and weird. Anyway, my whole respect for Tom Six, the director and head of this authentic film. He had a really good idea and the courage and mad to make it true🎬😍 Furthermore, I praisse the main actor, Dieter Laser, oh... MY RESPECT for this man, who really shone here.
The best perfomances for me: Dieter Laser (Dr. Heiter), the 2 cops, Andreas Leupold (Kranz) and Peter Blankenstein (Voller). ... would you do Dr. Heiter acts? 💉

Ridley Scott directs the scene from "Blade Runner" with Harrison Ford and Joanne Cassidy.
Fyre (2019) - 10/10.
Fyre tells the woeful tale of the eponymous 2017 Fyre music festival, "the greatest party that never happened," which promised guests a champagne lifestyle but instead delivered an experience worth lemonade.
I somehow managed to miss every minute of this clusterfuck and its aftermath; every cheese sandwich, hurricane tent filled minute of what was supposed to be an exclusive jamboree teeming with supermodels and celebrities.
But luckily, Chris Smith brings me up to speed with this gripping documentary. Delving into a world of greed and dishonesty, he details what viewers first believe to be the deluded dream of charismatic entrepreneur Billy McFarland - and his exuberant sidekick Ja Rule - but quickly emerges as one of the biggest swindles of our time at the hands of a duplicitous fraudster.
Through extensive footage and candid interviews with Fyre employees and organisers, this talented film-maker rolls out the event-planning nightmare piece by shocking piece. He tugs the audience between amusement and horror at the chaotic state of affairs in a classic "you couldn't write the script" fashion.
Unlike Hulu's stab at the subject matter, Fyre Fraud (2019), there's no interview with McFarland here. I didn't feel that this detracted from the film's force and enjoyability, though.
If, like me, this is all news to you, then I won't spoil the ending. In a post-mortem, Ja Rule erroneously contends that none of what went down was fraud, but rather "false advertising." Whether you're already in the know about Fyre or not, it's no false advertising to say that this documentary is must-see non-fiction storytelling by a writer and director at the top of his game.

Underworld: Evolution premieres in theaters in the top spot with a $26.8 million opening weekend. It would fall to 3rd the following weekend, behind Big Momma’s House 2 and Nanny McPhee. The movie is the second film in the Underworld series and the third chronologically. It would go on to earn $62.3 million domestically, the 47th biggest movie of 2006.
1994’s Stargate was Pat’s “Do Not Recommend” for this episode. Even James Spader, who played Dr. Daniel Jackson, said he thought the script was awful but he did it for the money. Guess that Pretty In Pink money doesn’t last forever!
Have you seen Stargate? What do you think of it? Was Pat right? Comment below to join the discussion!

I would have to agree that Cinema's golden roster is but inaccurate and incomplete without this Fellini masterpiece. La Dolce Vita, isn't as sweet as its headline proposes and the storyline isn't as captivating as the journey should be but the experience will make sense post watching as it will create a rationalizing effect that is just inviting and lingering. There should be a more apt description than sweetness because the word suggests something fleeting, superficial and positive and the film is just beyond that. I would have to say it will make u understand the msytifying side of life which is enchanting, bewildering and reasoned altogether. The plot exists in the world of an Italian journalist who works for gossip magazines, Marcelo Mastroianni, encountering seven different instances of cursory life moments leading him to steer for love and happiness. Intially you would find Fellini's work confusing and nearly senseless because of the fragmented scenes and sequences but what i have come to realize after watching, i was given an immersive environment for me to reflect about what life is, following the disintergrated instances the proganist encountered. And the experience really was more enveloping rather than witnessing a mere spectacle. My narrative wont end without acknowledging the casting of Anita Ekberg who was just simply breathtaking and enigmatic particularly in the Trevi fountain scene. Some movies have match made in heaven effect with some of its actors and La Dolce has it with Ekberg whicj will never ever be surpassed with a remake. La Dolce Vita isn't an easy movie but it will not dissapoint the discriminating ones. Definitely one of the greats and is a must see. #LaDolceVita #FedericoFellini #filmreview #filmreviews #filmfestivals #cinephile #filmnerd #filmgeek #cinephilecommunity #filmbuff #filmcritic #movie #movienight #moviejunkie #movienerd #moviefan #instamovie #instamovies #instafilm #instacinema #hollywood #movielover #moviebuff #passion #classic
As if you didn't already know, I absolutely LOVE the show Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia! As soon as I heard season 13 (Yep, it's that good it's got 13 seasons!!), was coming onto Netflix, I was like YAAAAYYYYYY!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗 The gang are back, Mac is incredibly ripped, like stupid ripped, which is amazing seeing as he was 'tacking on mass' a while back and became a fat boy! Dennis left at the end of season 12 to be with his new found child, will he back?? 🤔 Frank is just as vile and disgusting as ever! Dee and Charlie are the same old Dee and Charlie. I've not watched all the way yet, still a couple of episodes left but what I've seen so far, I've literally been laughing out loud! Wade Boggs challenge with the ladies is great, Charlie does Home Alone is even greater and Macs new found toy in episode 1 is hilarrrr! 😂😂 If you're new to IASIP then watch from the very beginning but get past season 1, it's defo the weakest, it has no Frank (Danny Devito) but it gets funnier and funnier the more you watch. Just be aware it's pretty unPC 😁😁 #movies #moviefan #movieblog #tvshow #itsalwayssunny #itsalwayssunnyinphiladelphia #dannydevito #funny #season13 #blog #instablog #reviews #television #macgotfit #onmyscreentoday
